Greene only played 3 seasons with the Steelers, and he didn't retire as a Steeler. I root for the long time former Steelers players to get in the Hall Of Fame more.

I look at LC Greenwood not being in already as a crime. It should actually be investigated as to why he is continually passed over. He is a victim of overall team success.

    no doubt
you would think they would put him in for the simple fact that the HALL would be flooded with Steeler fans and boost the economy
shouldn't hold a player out because there are TOO MANY from the same team in the same era.

It's just a matter of time for Kevin Greene. It's been > 15 years since he retired and he's still in the top 3 for career sacks. The closest active player to him is Jared Allen who is 33 years old and 24.5 sacks behind.

LC should be a Hall of Famer. But look how long it took for Charles Haley to get in.

As has been said before they don't actually go in as a Steeler or a Ram, you have guys that are identified as being only with a certain team but the bust and accompying material just list teams the player played for. I think it is up to the player as to how they identify themselves during the induction ceremony. I think Rice mainly went with the Niners and Haley with the Cowboys if I remember correctly. In Greene's case he got his start with the Rams but it was the Steelers that made him a household name and the Panthers that drove it home. So who knows.
