Week 8: Official Gameday Thread Steelers vs. Raiders

I'm in shock. But I don't know why. I thought we would play better coming out of the gate. But it's still time.

 

Dwyer came to play! You know, the guy they cut this Summer.

 

Hey I get pissed too, but it's only 14 points and the first quarter. We can still come back.

Gotta remember, this is still the Raiders. There's always a chance, but it's amazing how we can look worse against teams like this than pretty much any other team....

 

With the state if this team there is plenty to go around that's for sure

 

Maybe we should have drafted Pryor in the supplemental draft?

Why is it that we allow these local guys now playing for the Raiders to make us look like pansies?? First Gradkowski and now Pryor!

 

At this point, I say go ahead and win Cincy. Our best bet would be to get a wildcard, which a loss by the Jets would help with. However, that means this team needs to comeback and beat the Pats next week. A loss here and we are talking next years draft again.

maybe you don't throw to Heath for the rest of the day since he can't catch a cold anymore.

i mean, he'd probably hang onto the ball if that Raiders pansy didn't tackle him like a thug, but you should still catch that.

It's a good thing we were going to stop the run and keep control of the qb and make him beat us in the pocket. So who gets the blame for a team that is always unprepared and undisciplined?

 

What can he do besides complain? He's exactly right, this happens way more often than it should!

You mean if I root hard enough and keep a positive attitude, the team can channel that and play better?
