Hey TTF! I was just curious as to how the pickem worked and if it was ATS. Somehow I got joined. It is a bit too late now so could you delete me.

Do you have any contests like a pick any 5 ATS. These are popular lately.

Against the Spread!

Several years ago I stumbled on a site that discussed the nfl games each week. The site also had a bunch of contests. One of them was a pick 5 games [any 5] with the Thursday posted lines. There was an entry fee, however at the end of the season the entire sum was returned [top 3] to the winners. Unheard of in regards to fairness or a good deal.

What interested me was the high % of winning picks made by the players. This year out of about 60 entrants over half are averaging 3wins per week or better. This is really very good and it has been like this for a while.

Some Steeler sites have contests also. Of course they are all in good fun. If there was something similar here I was planning on simply parroting the consensus selections of several of the consistently top players there and entering those picks. It actually could be a lot of fun and of course it is not easy. There also is an option to select a winning side against the posted over and under. But the best players there rarely use that and simply take a side.

Monday night, not one player of the dozen of so that played the game did not take Detroit. For the longest time I thought they were wrong but as it turned out not so.
