Darren Waller is a flat out stud. 6'6 260 pounds and runs a 4.4. Had 20 targets last night vs Baltimore. We always suck at covering athletic tight ends. Who do we use to cover him? You know Carr will sling it 50+ times and Waller may have half of the targets.

Easy pressure Carr on 40 out 50 pass attempts like they did Allen

I wonder if TTF can insert some code that will automatically delete a thread based on like 5 negative reactions to it

Watching the game last night, yeah, he is a stud ... but also Carr was forcing the ball to him all game, which was part of the reason Raiders struggled to score most of the night.

I don't feel like they have any other legit threats.

Don't forget Ruggs who runs a 4.2. They have a lot of weapons.

The Raiders OL isn't very good. I expect the DL to boss them around even worse than they did the Bills. So I'd anticipate Carr checking down to him and maybe Josh Jacobs quite a lot. Will need Bush and Norwood/Edmunds to stay home.

If Allen was running for his life, and eluded quite a few just because of his speed and athleticism... It's gonna be a loooong day for Mr. Carr!

Am I just to old school, why does it seem like no one even tries to jam receivers and tight ends at the los?

Don't let Carr throw the ball and Waller catch it. Simple as pie.

Yep I hate that free release crap..If the OC has the right calls and the correct route trees and the QB diagnosis the Defense before the snap a Team full of all time greats in their prime will get beat playing off coverage ...It is why this D can be lit up at any time by anybody,, if the opponent have those things in place..

I would put a Jammer on him and have a bracket man at the 5 yard mark as well as a Robber at 10 to 15 yards deep on his side of the field...Let him know from jump you can't get off the LOS free you are going to have double coverage and put the fear of God in the QB as there is also another defender lurking to jump any quick throw route..Shut him down make them beat you with someone else..

Anf the best way to do that is jam him so the DL or the blitz can actually have time to put him there ...
