The steelers have not won in Philly since 1965 but Wilson is 5-0 vs eagles in his career and 3-0 in Philly

Btw,Tom Brady will be in the booth in this game!

Not entirely true. We won a pre-season game in 71-72, memory shaky. Joe Green came out of tunnel and saw us and gave a great wave. My biggest memory was Eagle fans had like 4-5 blow-up dolls they labeled Mike McCormack (their HC at the time) and spent the whole game knocking them all over the stadium.

Hope I bring luck again this Sunday. Sadly the two people that took me to that game are in Steeler heaven. Hoping to bring them a winner again.

I cannot take Brady, so glad I won't have to listen.

Yeah, not expecting a win. Would be shocked if we win. Would like to finish season 13-4 after losing that though.

I don`t think much of the lousy game they had with the lowly Panthers. Sometimes good teams slack up on bad teams and we know all about that.

May see some resting of players here, 3 games in 10 days, an NFC team?

The Eagles are favored by 4.5 points, I think it will be a FG game either way so I like the Steelers and the points.

In the 3 games under Tomlin....The eagles won 15-6 with 9 sacks by the eagles defense(6 in the second quarter!!!) in 2008,34-3 in 2016 and 35 -13 in 2022.

not sure what to think this week...it seems as tho this team could throw up 40, or barley put up 20....very jeckyl and hyde. a little more consistancy and i would feel a bit more comfortable saying they should win. late game on a sunday...HERE WE GO!

P.S. think this is gonna be very similar to the ravens game..feel that philly and Baltimore have very similar weapons

of course the two best games of the week are going head to head at 4:25 next week with Buffalo at Detroit on CBS. We are the defensive game and the other will be the offensive fireworks.

WE haven't won in Philly, time for that to change. If Steelers want to win Superbowl, they need to beat the hardest teams.

Just checked since someone mentioned that Buffalo was playing at the same time. Looks like CBS and NBC will both be running double headers next week in my area. Giants/Ravens, Bills/Lions, Steelers/Eagles, Jets/who cares?.

I know people don't like this, but I could careless. Hell.....I might even rest a starter, or two. They are an NFC team, and the next time, this Year I will care about beating an NFC team .....will be in the SB.
Beat the Raven, and the Bengals. That's what I want.
I do believe we took a beating in Philly once, and either went to the SB that year, or deep into the playoffs.

I kind of agree, but Steelers have legit shot at 1 or 2 seed. Hard to start sitting players with that as a possibility. I do think you sit Pickens though. Need him.

Only the number 1 seed gets a bye. Win the Division, and we get at least home field advantage in the 1st playoff game. After that... everything will sort itself out. I've seen us go to the SB every way.

Right...1 seed is in play though. Can't just assume the Chiefs win all games minus the Steelers game. Hell...they barely beat all 12 teams they've beat. LOL

The Eagles game should tell us all we need to know about the Steelers.

I am dreading watching Barkley run against this defense.

Rats and Iggles are very similar teams. Steelers held King Henry and Mr MVP always Lamar Jackson to under 300 yards. Need to do the same to Philthy. This time though. Get TD’s instead of FG’s.

Well, of the remaining 4 games, this is non-conference. Pickens may also still be out.

Philly is a little unpredictable as well, struggled a bit with the lowly Panthers.

Steelers broke the Raiders curse in '23.... even though the Raiders road drought wasn't as bad as Eagles.

Before the '23 Pickett Steelers.... O'Donnell Steelers was the last Steelers team to win at Oakland/LA/LV in 1995.

If the Bills and steelers face in the second round,I prefer this game being in Pittsburgh that in Buffalo. The Bills are 6-0 at home this year and the road to the super bowl will be more harder if the steelers have to win in BUF and in KC in back to back week....so yes the second seed matter....Not at all cost but the second seed still matter

When it happens to other teams it makes me feel better about the sure wins that weren't over the years.

We won the SB that season. The guys I worked with brought that game and it's 9 sacks up to me as soon as I walked in the door Monday morning.
