Not saying the Ravens pass defense is bad, but their nickname is "Legion of Room".

Ravens have the worst Pass Defense in the NFL right now.

They are giving up 295 yards passing per game, and have allowed 22 passing TDs. Both of these stats are worst in the NFL.

I would assume Russ is going over 300 yards, and Pickens and Williams will have monster games this week.

I heard J Mac tried to diss the Steelers for not having beaten anybody to get to 7-2, he's pissed because he looks like a clown before the season he had the Steelers winning 5 games .

I don't like that they got a miniature bye week before playing us.

Actually J Mac is completely wrong. I saw this, this morning on one of the Sports shows.

If the Playoffs began today the Steelers are 4-0 against playoff teams.

I assume we will see plenty of both Smith and Herbig, but that is a good reason to play Smith most of the time. The Ravens can do a lot of damage through the air, but you have to be physical in stopping the run first with Henry back there.

It is a tough match up and brutal timing to be without Highsmith, who was playing at a very high level. He was better than Watt against the Commanders. Of course, I still think Watt is playing through an injury. I know he is getting chipped and double-teamed most of the time, but that isn't new.

The Steelers will probably need a huge passing game. The Ravens have an excellent run defense, giving up a league-best 3.4 yards per carry. Harris has had some big games against them in the past, but I'm not sure that will be the case this time around. Wilson needs to start fast and attack that weak secondary. They are tied for fourth in the league with 31 sacks, so a lot is going to ride on the line doing its job.

People still think the Ratbirds have a good defense. Must be reputation of the past.

I would not give the points if I had to bet.

It’s going to be tough. Henry will be priority but Jackson is also a huge threat. I don’t see us sweeping them this year. We have won 4 in a row and just came off a huge win, so I would be shocked if we won this one.

They have an excellent run defense. It's not just teams not bothering with the run because the pass is open. They are giving up only 3.4 yards per carry, best in the league. They are also fourth in the league with 31 sacks. That makes it a tougher matchup for the Steelers, who rely on being balanced. The Ravens also have a dominant offense, so I'm not shocked that they are favored.

I think 11 wins are on the horizon, and I feel this is the year we break the playoff slump. That is of course no injuries and we avoid KC in the first round.

The Ravens pass defense is suspect, but some of that statistical awfulness is the result of other teams needing to air it out to play catch up. We will need to fire on all cylinders.

The ravens are also bottom 5 in yards per pass attempts on defense,so this is not just because of the volume.Last in TD pass allowed too.The steelers need to focus more on the passing game in this game since the ravens have still a strong run defense

we have not beaten much, skin of our teeth on Sunday, certainly nothing dominant.

Keep watching, the test is Sunday, the first test.

yes - b/c Lamar and King Henry and Co. most likely will hang at least 30 on us. the bend but don't break secondary and the soft interior run D for us is in for it's toughest test to date.

Russ and the WRs better get ready for a track meet. Najee up the middle is not the game plan.

35 - 31 game , something like that this week

True. Some of it is Burrow and Chase having two great games against them. They have faced some tough passing offenses.

They beat a hot team Washington on the road and a first place team Atlanta, the Chiefs aren't dominant either they are barely winning against bad teams.

At least we have a chance in a close game, unlike years past where it was over pretty early on. :tequila:
