the only player we have listed is Hawkins so it looks like Mitchell will go and probably just didn't want to risk injury in the preseason. The Browns have a bunch of players listed biggest be Thomas, Garrett, and Sheldon.

Myles Garrett is out so everyone can calm the heck down.

I didn't see anyone in freak out mode. Myles Garret is out 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Good for us, bad for them. I posted in the "bold prediction" thread that I thought AV had a rough preseason. I didn't get to see the entirety of every preseason game, so if I am wrong someone please chime in. Maybe I only caught his lowlights.

I was hoping Garrett would play so I could gauge where AV is at, but taking the #1 overall pick off the field is good for us too. I was just curious how everyone thought AV did this preseason. He never missed any time during his contract negiotiations (which was admirable by him) so I was interested in his preseason performance.

Having only one guy and a backup at that, on our list is awesome. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I'm assuming Mitchell has practiced, because if he hasn't, don't they have to list that on the report?

Sounds like they are about to release Calvin Pryor after a fight during practice.

Add Bud Dupree to our list (shoulder). Says he'll play, though.

He already has a shoulder injury. They should not play him very much. Need him in the long run!!!

I'm not sure freaked out is the right word. There have been quite a few that are elevating the Browns to the ranks of contenders due in part to Garrett as well as several other factors. I'm not looking past the Browns but at the end of the day this is still the Browns and the start of Ben's penultimate season. It will be a statement game. That statement will be this season is for Dan, this isn't a typical Tomlin start, this isn't a typical Tomlin team, this isn't a let down year. This is the year they wake the echoes and dominate

"The Cleveland Curse" lives on sadly.

Hmm... more so of the Browns anyway.

What's up with dupree always being hurt and rarely making plays? IMO the dude is gonna be considered a bust

Rarely making plays? Once he got going last year he was unstoppable. He was a huge reason for our defensive surge last year. Had sacks in what 4 or 5 straight games and was blowing people up left and right.

4.5 sacks in 7 games. About 10 average if he played all 16. That's good

Bud is underwhelming for a first round pick and has injury concerns. He's a bust. Less than 10 sacks in his career and was drafted to rush the QB

The injury concerns are real, but anybody who thinks he can't play missed the second half of last season and the playoff game against the Dolphins.
