Just saw tickets at KC are going as low as $30 upper level.

Idk...after going to Ravens and Dolphins game...if I was closer then Atl I'd definitely go.

I live 2 1/2 hours away and I'm not going to risk driving in an ice storm. Three weeks ago it took 5 hours for me to get home from work for what normally takes 45 minutes because of an ice storm. About a half dozen fatalities related to that storm. Over 100 accidents.

I'll drive in a blizzard, but not ice.

My buddy is taking the Amtrack train from St. Louis to avoid driving.

I'm in Connecticut, and our local AM weather report was just 50% focused on the ice storm in the Midwest. They were calling it a potentially paralyzing storm that could produce ice for a few days. Yikes! Setting aside driving conditions (which may be scary), these types of storms can mean significant power outages.

That's the thing I'm worried about the most is the power outages.

I've been to a game at Arrowhead. The tailgating is insane, BBQ and such. The stadium is electric, loud. I saw them play the donkeys when Todd Haley was the coach. He was not the recipient of warm reception lol. I would go back again it was a great experience.

Maybe the NFL should change the game location to Pittsburgh to be fair for both teams

This is what I'm worried about too. I have a 10 month old girl so it isn't just me and the wife able to just wrap up in blankets by the fire. I was hoping I would at least be able to drive up to the Steelers fan club which is only a couple miles away. However, if roads are icy, I'm not going anywhere. Just not worth it.

It's not the field I'd be worried about, I'm talking about the roads

My buddy is a KC fan. I just texted him a little while ago to ask if he had heard how bad it was supposed to be, and I said I had a feeling there were about to be some huge drops in ticket prices before too long. Guess the panic has already officially begun

Stubhub and Vivid Seats have thousands of tickets left, starting as low as $27. Looks like Chiefs fans are dumping tickets.

The NFL bought an extra seven hours for the temperature to rise and Kansas City to work on the roads. Imagine how pissed those ticket-dumping fans must be. I love it!

They're now saying this morning that it's starting to look like the models are shifting on the timing of the freezing temperatures, and that they may hover just below freezing into possibly the early evening Sunday night in Kansas City.

I know one thing, I'm going to be PISSED if they delay this game any further! That would be giving New England a two day advantage for the AFC Championship. They already received two frickin' byes this postseason. If they have to back this game up any further, I think it's time to move it to a neutral site. Logistics nightmare but I don't care, need to be fair to all teams!

Overnight Saturday and up till noon Sunday will be icy and dangerous for travel.
The weather after about 12:00pm Sunday will be all rain.
Temps will stay above freezing throughout the evening and rise overnight.

Unless the forecast changes drastically moving the game time was a good call and I wouldn't expect anymore changes.

That's what I'm talking about. About 20 minutes ago on The Weather Channel, the guy said the models are showing that shift being delayed until late afternoon or even possibly early evening before warming up above freezing. The models have shifted since last night

About noon is the last of the freezing rain. Then 7 hours till game time. It won't be a problem.
It's been icing since early Friday and MoDot has been on top of it. For the most part the roads are in great shape. Secondly roads may be a challenge, but I don't expect much of a problem.

I hope you're right. I'm just stating what the national weather guru's were saying within the past hour, because ending at noon is NOT what they were saying

Wather.com has "freezing rain" ending at noon, but "rain" continuing. After noon, it may not freeze on trees, but if highways are still below freezing, they will freeze.

Weather in Pittsburgh is good. Move the game here.
