Steelers have been playing bad football these last three games in terms of making alot of mistakes. Lets see if they can clean that up on Saturday. The defense will be tested again. Lets see if the offense can keep up this time. I think they’ll pull off the win to end up 11-6. After that, i dont think this team is disciplined enough to win a playoff game (i hope im wrong).

I think the guy that runs this website makes money on every post. These guys are most likely on the payroll. 95% of the people here want Tomlin fired but a couple of these clowns that claim they hate Tomlin will chime in and keep the conversation going and take the other side of your argument (all while claiming they hate Tomlin too).

I am rooting for the Bengals to win. I don’t want Tomlin to get off of the ever growing hot seat.

what growing hot seat?? They just extended him for another 3 years I believe? His seat is as comfortable as a seat you can find. End of story.

Tomlin winning one playoff game would make his seat comfortable. If he doesn’t do it this season it will be 8 and counting. Eventually people will take notice. Maybe around 10 or so.

I tend to agree. I don't think the outcome of the Bungs game will heat his seat at all.

If he loses to the bengals then there is zero chance of a playoff victory. If they win and play the Texans it’s a guaranteed win for the Steelers

Then you're not a real Steelers fan if you're rooting for the Bungles .

We all knew that this schedule was backloaded.

This isn't too surprising. We were just lulled into over optimism by the 10-4 start which included games against the Jets, Giants, Raiders, early season Broncos, etc. You then have to go on the road to Philly, Balt, and home at KC. Water finds its level. Unfortunately we're going to have to play a hot Bengals team.

Let's face facts. Our talent level just isn't there with the top half dozen or so teams in the league.

I am root for the Steelers to get better. If Tomlin wins a playoff game against a pathetic team we will get more of the same for another decade. I am rooting for change

I gotta agree - if you root against the team, then it is fair to question loyalty.

cant argue with this. Maybe we overestimated this team. Whats disappointing is that the steelers sorta made it look like they were going all in this year. By doing this they've delayed the rebuilding process. Not well thought out imo.

So since we all already know the outcome the next 2 weeks. We probably shouldn’t even watch the games should we.

Sad thing is many people in here will probably watch the games and hope they are right instead of actually cheering for the team they claim to love.

I was hoping they could win one of those games in that tough three game stretch, unfortunately Wilson decided to play his worst football at the wrong time .

Wilson had some bad INTs, but all 3 of the games were within 1 score at the half and then the defense imploded in the 3rd quarter.

The Ravens game was winnable but for the bad turnovers by Wilson, especially the pick 6 that a competent high school QB wouldn’t have thrown.

Mike ain't going nowhere even if Bengals and whoever we play in Playoffs blow us away. And I'm pretty sure Russell Wilson is our starter next season. What that means to me is the Steelers will be above average team but no where near sniffing a Super Bowl.

And Ben never threw incompetent pick 6's? :lolol:

Happens to all QBs not named Mahomes.

Most of us are. But change will have to wait.

Art II will have to have the wash, rinse and repeat over and over get on his last nerve. Which I don't believe will happen. Once he steps down and his son takes over then a regime change will happen. His son is a football man. He is not.

But really now rooting for another team to win? Common now. Check yourself. I've been a Steeler Fan I believe longer then you have existed and never wanted them to lose. You should follow suit if in so you call yourself a true Steeler fan...

Rooting against Tomlin is the same as me rooting for a 7th ring. Tomlin will never get the 7th ring even if he coaches another 50 years

I am not moving the bar. Tomlin isn’t good enough. He won’t go unless the national media starts to say he sucks. Him extending his streak of 7 seasons without a playoff win will start to turn heads. If he wins the media will leave him alone. For me it changes nothing he needs to go period. His streak would be 13 seasons without a playoff win however in Tomlin fashion he got to play against two backup QBs. If his streak was 13 seasons the media would be complaining and more fans also.

I agree that Tomlin won't coach the Steelers to another Super Bowl win, but I will root for the Steelers even if they were 3-13. Cowher coached 15 seasons... Noll coached 23. Tomlin has coached 18... and will likely keep on coaching as Steelers HC until he retires. He's not going to be fired... not gonna happen. Tomlin will leave on his terms. Sad but true.
