The Bengals opened as a 1.5 point favorite but now the line is favoring them by 3. Seems like all of the bettors are moving towards the Bengals.

If I could have brought myself to bet against the Steelers I would have put money on the Chiefs winning, thats how sure I was the Steelers would lose. I have a very similar feeling for this game. Steelers D can’t stop anyone and the offense wont be able to keep up with the Bengals. Wilson has reverted back to Denver Russ, holding the ball too long, taking too many sacks and turning the ball over.

I don’t know what they have to do to right the ship, maybe benching Sutton will have a positive effect, the defense needs to be playing like it was early in the year for this team to have any hope. No better time than to start this Saturday.

4 game losing streak? Highly likely it's gonna be 5 counting the playoff one and done.

Part of my point is that it's not necessarily rest and lose to Bengals or don't rest and win. I think we're not beating the Bengals regardless, so I'd rather lose while resting the starters for the playoff game. Tomlin actually has a very good record after a bye week, which this would essentially give us.

Well Watt and Highsmith who have been absent best get on the good foot and apply pressure early and often. If Burrow has time he will eat this secondary alive.

Steelers really need to try hard to win this game. If they lose and go wherever with a losing streak ---it will be easier to lose in playoffs and make more excuses....

we can beat the Bengals ---anyone thinking we can't is defeatist-- we might as well just forfeit the playoffs or play all scrubs so our top players can rest for next year. <doesn't that sound wrong>

I’ve noticed you two, and sometimes the hall monitor, are always the first responders when someone makes a negative thread… do u have a notification setup somehow, or do u sit there hitting refresh over and over?

Highsmith was getting pressure against the Chiefs but we need sacks from both of them, Herbig has been quiet lately too.

Too much time on our hands during winter

And it’s not negative threads it’s Troll threads and there is a substantial difference
but trolls don’t have the capacity to understand this so hence the problem

I’m not happy by any means with things as they are and I wanted to move on from Tomlin long ago and I’ve stated it

I just don’t have the burning desire to start another thread to repeat myself

I don’t make look at me posts to get attention

I don’t make Troll posts but I do enjoy whacking Trolls

For me that sums it up

    Time for a cold one

Thinking they will lose is not remotely the same as saying they should forfeit. They should fight like hell but will still probably lose.

I’m not sure what anyone has scene in the last few weeks that inspires any confidence.

If that were true.... Steelers would have won at least one of the last three. They lost all of them by the 3rd quarter.

Unless the Steelers play the Texans in the wild card round, they will finish the season on a 5 game losing streak.

It's the same damn script that Tomlin keeps pitching and it will result with the same results. And that's ill prepared and clueless on how to beat legitimate contenders in important games.

Was hoping for 1 win outta the three.
Houston just lucky to get in and praying they get us
We’re underdogs in our own house
Sad but that’s where we’re at.

As I go to post this coach is speaking, his catch phrase this round is, “I’m an information guy.” He’s repeated it a couple times now.

With all that said, I’m hopeful for a home divisional win this week. I think we get the W in a close one. I’m an optimist or do u think I’ve been hitting the holiday nog? Go Steelers!

Don't under estimate the mental/psychology involved here. How many times have we seen a team that beats the other regularly for no good reason? I'll site the Eagles dominance over the Steelers in Philly as an example. Lamar has had his problems beating the Steelers (last game excepted) and despite all the accolades, hasn't been able to get his team deep in the playoffs. The Ravens usually bring out the best in the Steelers. That's where my head is at on this.
