we thought woodley was bad

The ravens Upshaw has once again shown up fat and out of shape. 286 pounds so his rookie year and second year he is showing zero motivation. I would be livid if the Steelers used their first pick on an olb and then had to go pay a mercenary 35 millions dollars because he can't get to the qb. Imagine once this guy's been in the league a few years next year he may show up at 300 pounds.

 

Upshaw was a second round pick. I don't think the Dumervil signing was related to Upshaw in any way. Upshaw was not really touted as a pass rusher coming out of college, more of a solid set the edge guy with pass rushing potential. Dumervil was more of a you have a chance to get an elite defensive player so you go get him. By the way Upshaw showed up to camp last year out of shape as well. Definitely a long-term health concern for Upshaw but we have good depth if he cannot go.
