He was shutting Jackson down and then left a game with an injury. They nearly lost the game after that, his replacement didn't do nearly as a good a job.

I didn't keep track of him during the season though, I should have known people were losing their minds based on last nights game only.

Taylor didn't miss 4 games a year 3 years in a row. As a result of poor conditioning. Have you seen the halfassed judo kick woodley has attempted during his 2 sacks this year? simply cannot move like he used to

Jackson had Lewis beaten a couple of times but the Eagles didn't get Jackson the ball.

Lewis stated he turned down more money from other teams. Anyways, I don't know why people continue to hang onto Lewis. Lewis is gone, get over it people. Lewis wasn't the first good player the team parted ways with and he won't be the last.

lewis and Harrison played at least a week longer than we did. s'all I'm sayin. LOL:facepalm:

I don't think it's as much we lost lewis as it is the absolute, waste Curtis brown has been and how we kept him again this year. will they keep him again? he's a body. we need bodies back there.

It may be out of the Steelers hands. Worilds will attract a fair amount of attention on the free agent market and it sounds as if he may have just a bit of resentment that he wasn't given a fair shake. Now that may just be his perception, but perception might as well be reality. I think he'll at least test the market and believe there is a 75% chance that he'll be gone if that happens.

What's the comp pick looking like? Based on money I'd have thought 4th. Steelers Depot guessed 5th... Did he play every snap? Make the Pro Bowl as an alternate? Any chance it gets bumped up?

I should have inserted the word "like" before two. It felt like two.

I'm thinking a 3rd for Wallace, 5th for Lewis. He played every snap, or just about.

Sounds about right, I think they were banking on one of them giving a third back, which is why they traded a third to move up last draft.

When the Cowboys cut Allen, and we signed him back, I believe that greatly reduced our net loss, eliminating Mendenhall from the equation. Mundy I don't believe will count, as his was a small, one year deal.

Thinking about it, if Sanders had been let go, then they'd already have that 3rd rounder back. What the heck happened to that kid Lake was excited about?

Terry Hawthorne, he's a FA, had his preseason derailed by an injury. Maybe they will bring him to camp and take another look at him.

The past is gone, time to look to the future.

Time to let Cement shoes Taylor go, Marshmallow Woodley.

Keisel and Clark will be gone.

Troy needs to take a cut or go.

Foote gets another year, but should be challenged.

Inject the youth movement. Can LeBeau's scheme change to make this happen? Not to sure. Can this Defense put stopping the pass first, not the run? It needs to. The league has changed, and this defense needs to change with it.
