Thought we had the number 8 pass D in the league. A high school team could pass on us.

He only completed 10 passes. But - at times - he looked a lot like a healthy Ben.

 Is that for real? Seems like he completed 30 passes. Well, those 10 were crushing completions.

not arguing with that, but he (Tebow) seems to be a unique kind of phenomenon, has a sense of destiny around him. Hard to fight that.

We made Painter and the Chiefs Q.B. look like All Pros as well. Our D just isn't very good.

I still dont understand how we left those WRs so open. When i watched tebow this season he couldnt hit anyone on slants or curls.

Kind of like what Ben had until he met the pats in the AFCCC game... don't worry Tbone is going to visit with Marcia soon too.

Total disregard for passing in some situations.

Misreads in others. Denver changed some of the routes and the reads the DB's were seeing were wrong due to this. Out coached there.

Mundy totally blew his read on the OT play. He guessed run from the snap and realized it too late. He should have been there to knock the **** out of him after the catch.

All passes are difficult when you're facing a pass rush.

The Steelers got no pressure on Tebow.

That can't be. Not when we have the great untouchable Lebeau LOL! Where are all the fire Lebeau threads since the top defense in the NFL gives up 29 points to a team whose QB can't hit the broad side of a barn with a pass let alone hit a receiver in stride ? Ok now on a serious note. Lebeau's a helluva coach. The problem today was he game planned for the Tebow we've been seeing all year and how the hell could you blame him. From the beginning of the game right to Denver's last TD in OT it was clear the Steelers were going to just keep stacking against the run and daring Tebow to throw the ball. Even after a handful of splash plays in the passing game in the 2nd qtr I have to believe Lebeau just like the rest of us kept thinking it was just a fluke and Tebow would soon self destruct. Just keep clamping down on the run and that INT is gonna happen. Unfortunately for us Tebow chose today to shock Lebeau and the rest of western civilization by being a real NFL QB. We can rant about poor game planning, poor secondary execution and a mediocre pass rush that didn't frighten anyone this year but in general I'll just chalk this one up to piss poor luck. Think about it. Tebow passes for 316 yards against us. Our QB can barely limp out of his own way. Our starting center is out. Our starting RB is out. The durable Keisel goes down. Big snack goes down. Our best DB is burned repeatedly. James Harrison gets faked out TWICE by Tebow and the list goes on. If that isn't piss poor luck I don't know what is. The cards have been stacked against us for weeks now and they've finally all come crashing down.

Best explanation I've read. A lot of abnormal things happened tonight, and they usually happened in the Broncos favor.

Season over. We were defeated by the inferior team (at least by all definitions; record and stat wise). But with that said. The Steelers as a organization have to go into this years draft as if there next 5-10 yr success organizationally depends on it. As it will in my opinion. Can't afford to miss on rnds 1 and 2 this year; not in the least. We need O-line help in the worst way. Once we address those needs, well, we can look to other places to fill.

Well, Denver went all soft zone on us. That helped a lot.

But yeah. We all know the "Team of Destiny" thing. This team felt like the complete opposite. Short of a plane crashing, I don't know what else could have gone wrong this year.

In the end, we got Munsoned in Denver.
