Actually in 2017 they are bringing back Unsolved Mysteries and they're gonna give updates on cases they covered on the Robert Stack show.

 

I thought I was on your ignore list or I would have addressed you directly rather than talk about you.

Either way, obviously my post isn't meant to be taken literally. It's not that black and white of course, although there's some element of truth to it.

I'm here to discuss the team. That means the good and the bad when they win and the good and the bad when they lose. I enjoyed last night more than when I touched my first boob, but I can still discuss things we need to improve on. When we win the Superbowl, only then will I no longer care about the team playing better because we've won it all. Until then, the task isn't complete yet. Winning a playoff clinching game is great, but it's not the end goal, not for fans as spoiled as Steelers fans.

It has nothing to do with being a hater

 

One of the greatest things I ever heard Chuck Noll say was when we won it in 78 and he said after the game "I don't think we've peaked yet". Then they go on the next year and win it all again. So there's always gonna be "something" to do better. I know what you mean though.

I LOVED that show! This is great news!! Robert Stack was perfect as host of the show. The new one isn't nearly as good.

 

Yeah man as an 80's kid I still get creeped out by the theme music. I also agree that Stack was perfect for it. I've always thought that. I remember an episode when I was probably 5 or so about kid getting kidnapped and it gave me this constant fear that it would also happen to me. LOL!

 

It was must watch TV on Wednesday nights! I'll be looking for it. Thanks for the heads up, BFT. The things we learn on this message board, lol.

 

LOL! We'll call it a belated gift. The only lame thing about it is that it's going to be streaming on Amazon but if you're a Prime Member you can watch for free. Just tell your wife "Honey, if we get this for only $99 a year you can have free 2 day shipping on everything AND we can watch Unsolved Mysteries in all of it's glory and maybe YOU can help sollllve a mystery..." LOL!

I'm actually not but I will probably do a "trial membership" just so I can binge watch this and then walk around kinda unnerved for about a month or so again. LOL!

I watched occassionaly but, after "Airplane", I couldn't see Robert Stack in a serious role again!

 

I only have two complaints....1) The defense needs to step up....It has holes as it is...and they were injured...I get that...but there was to many times one guy would hit a Raven...and help was a long time coming. FLY TO THE BALL...GANG TACKLE....and Get off the damn field on 3rd and long.....Every time I see only a 3 man rush....I know a WR/TE will be standing wide open somewhere in the middle of the Steelers zone.

2) And this IMO is the easiest to fix....For the love of God get 33 off kick return duties....Hamilton, Ayers, Coates, Gilbert...... Get Toussaint out of there....he not only is slow coming out...he is making bad decisions coming out......I think he runs hard at HB...but I would have kept Richardson over him....Richardson has speed over Toussaint...and you can't teach that.....Oh well...Richardson is a Jag now...Good luck young man. I want to see Ayers and Gilbert on return duty during the Browns game.

Wife got me a sweater it is Gold and Black, mostly gold so I put it first. Has lights on it around the word Touchdown. I thought hey my wife found a quaint one. I saw about 30 of them in the stands last night ha.

 

Well don't tell em you saw me BFT I been good since then.

 

Best game( quarter) I've seen. Atmosphere was unbelievable!

 

It was probably the craziest since the 08 AFC Championship game when Troy picked off Flacco for the td. I think the eastern seaboard shook from the pandemonium of that moment. It was when we all "knew" we were going back to the Super Bowl. It's still one of my favorite plays of all time and gets me pumped just thinking about it. Man I miss Troy and the days of that rivalry. Every game was just a total bloodbath was everything I love about "Steeler Football".
