We went on the road to Denver, against Peyton Manning, in the playoffs, without Bell and brown, and almost won that game... In a year when we beat Denver in the regular season

Yea... We've got no chance now

It's a bad sign when we are depending on other teams losing and there's over half of the games on the schedule yet to be played. Just shows how good New England is... and possibly the Raiders. Steelers will not beat either of those teams in the playoffs in either Foxboro or Oakland. Write it in stone.

The raiders are so good they set an NFL record for penalties with 23 for 200 yards, and still won.....

When the Pats are losing, Belichick throws Surface tablets, when they're winning, he throws...

I'm tired of this team needing help from other teams.

Relax.. The AFC (and NFL for that matter), is wide open. There are no super powerhouse teams out there. The Patriots are the best out there right now.. But, they didn't exactly set the world on fire against our injury plagued team. We also gave them a good game in week 1 last year. So, it appears we may have turned the page on the usual mid-late 2000s Patriots beatdowns. We were in the exact same spot last year (4-3) as we are this year.. And the AFC North appears to be even weaker this year.

At this time last year, did you really think we'd be within a 3rd string RB fumble away from the AFC Championship game, and playing lights out defense to finish the year? I know I didn't.

Maybe we'll get to play AJ McCarron and Peyton Manning's ghost in the postseason again this year.

Playing "lights out defense" against Manning's ghost, AJ McCarron, Austin Davis, and Ryan Mallett? Those were our last four games. Before that, Hasslebeck, Manziel, Osweiler, and McCarron again.

Derek Carr and Russell Wilson lit this team up. They were also the last two good QBs we faced.

    They won the Raiders game.

Who are the potential QB matchups in the playoffs?

    Brady
    Carr
    Dalton
    Flacco
    Seiman/Lynch
    Smith

They've beaten them all but Brady (except once).

I was commenting on the "lights out defense" remark. Our defense was overrated based on stats accumulated late last year against tomato cans.

2 best teams are pats and cowboys right now. Fully healthy and non stupid plays Steelers are 3rd. Can beat both in a shootout if all cylinders of offense are clicking

    "Tomato cans"?

If I can figure out what this means, I'm going to steal the phrase.

I was hoping for a Bengals loss, but a tie is the next best thing.

40-59 513 yards and 4 TD's will do that. Carr was on fire yesterday.

The Steelers I think are still going to have a decent shot to get a bye in the playoffs. Yes it sucks that both Oak and Denver won but keep in mind there are still 9 games left and plenty of time to make up a 1-2 game deficit on one of these teams. The Steelers right now just need to focus on winning the division and taking total control of the division which is what they can do this weekend with a win in Baltimore.

A win in Baltimore this week I believe will stick a fork in the Ravens who would be 3-5 to the Steelers 5-3 having lost the tiebraker and a head to head game at home to the Steelers. The Ravens have way too many tough games remaining for them on their schedule to make up a two game deficit plus losing a head to head at home to the Steelers. I just don't see them being able to overcome that. If the Steelers win in Baltimore Sunday the Ravens are for all practical purposes done and have no chance at all to still win this division. This is a much bigger game I feel for the Ravens then it is the Steelers.
