A tie is almost as bad as a loss.

On a separate note, how normal is it that 2 teams have a bye before they play each other? The rats have a bye this week too. I think if Ben's not back we may end up losing this team to a really bad rats team.

You really need to find a hobby. you spend way to much time worrying about things outside your control. It's not healthy, I suggest long walks or maybe chess.

Like I said in another thread, plenty of ball left. Keep Ben on the sidelines another week or 2... QUIT RUSHING HIM BACK

If the Steelers are relying on others to get in the playoffs... then that is an indication the team is clearly struggling even with Ben in.

Was hoping for raiders to lose, would have been nice. They are good but that afc west will beat itself up a bit, but it could have 3 playoff teams. Bengals should have lost. But at least the didn't win.

We got no shot at 1 seed. Patriots are unreal. But at least we stopped their attack a little better than buffalo did I guess.

Let's take care of our business and get the #2 seed

Not sure what help you'd expect them to get. The AFC North is pretty much there for the taking. Cleve is 0-8, Balt was off, Cincy got a tie.

If the Steelers don't win the division and are looking at WC possibilities, it will one very dissapointing season.

I guess Oak winning reduces the change for a playoff bye. But that's about the worst of it this week.

Amen. I'm sick and tired of relying on other teams to get us into the playoffs! Let's do it on our own for a change!!

That long walk thing would be a great idea. I actually know a short pier that would be perfect for it.

We need at the minimum second seed with a home game and bye

we will not go on the road and win in Denver or any other place the way this team is playing on the road so far this year

And even with the second seed we have to hope New England gets upset because I give us zero chance to win their

So we need all the help we can get to get that second seed
right now it's still a longshot

A tie could definitely matter down the road. The 2002 Steelers were 10-5-1 and had to travel to the 11-5 Titans in the playoffs. Had the Steelers won that game in Atlanta instead of the tie it would have been a home playoff game.

A tie is not good for them.. Especially since we already beat them once. The Bengals should have lost, yes, but it's not like they improved their positioning in the AFC North today.

A Bungle tie = no help? Instead of looking at it like it is, a "glass half full", your saying it`s worse. No help = an empty glass.

    I say it`s a positive.

All we got to do is take care of the Ratbirds and we will be on our way to winning the division.
