It's early I know but I'm bored. Lets compare Steelers, Eagles, Patriots and Vikings all top 4 seeds and their wins.

    Steelers:

    browns lol barely won
    vikings(2nd seed) 6-2
    ravens 4-4
    chiefs(3rd seed) 5-2
    bengals 3-4
    lions 3-4 barely won

4 away wins 2 close victories
    beat 2 top "playoff teams"

    Patriots:

    saints 5-2 away (4th seed)
    falcons 4-3 home
    texans 3-4 home barely won
    bucs 2-5 away barely won
    jets 3-5 away barely won
    chargers 3-5 home barely won

3 away wins 4 close victories
    beat 1 "playoff team"

    Eagles:

    redskins 3-4 away
    giants 1-6 barely won
    chargers 3-5 away barely won
    cardinals 3-4
panthers 5-3(6th seed) away barely won
    redskins 3-4
    49ers 0-8

3 away wins 3 close victories
    beat 1 "playoff team"

    Vikings:

    saints 5-2(4th seed)
    bucs 2-5
    bears 3-5 away barely won
    packers 4-3
    ravens 4-4
    browns 0-8 away?

1 "playoff team" 1 close victory, 2 away wins

Out of all the teams it looks like Steelers have beaten the strongest out of the other 3.
I can respect losing to Jags, it was close until all the turnovers and they are legit. Bears though lol. Still 6-2, with a comfortable beating of indy when we come out.

We can afford to more losses IF we beat patriots. Pats have 2 tough bills teams, 1 more jets, us, and dolphins twice.

Tuitt will solidify our D-line, need to play gravedigger more.
Gilbert will make our O line formidable again, add Vance and our run blocking should be good.
Bryant needs to shape up, we need him. Won't be a 30ppg offense but a 25ppg by years end will suffice.

I think the Buffalo Bills are good too. The still got to play the Patriots twice, if they take them down I will be impressed.

Brady also lost Chris Hogan yesterday too for how long remains to be determined.

Steelers are #3 behind Eagles and Patriots. Steelers are owned by both of those teams.

Right now, the Bills look slightly better than the Vikings... but that could change quickly if Buffalo does their typical November/December slide into mediocrity.

    I'd rank them like this:

    Eagles
    Patriots
    Steelers
    Bills
    Vikings

Eagles are clearly the best and most consistent all around team right now.

Vikings are impressive just the simple fact that they are their 3rd choice at starting QB and two back ups at running back and still winning.

They got a really good defense.

I was glad we beat them.

Well head to head yes Pats will still beat us, Eagles would beat us in Philly and in our current state(not with tuitt/gilbert)

This was just showing between the top 4 seeds Steelers have had the more impressive wins. I know it means nothing just wanted to say I blame Tomlin for that one.

Steelers have the most impressive wins and atrocious losses. Bears and Jags at home =

It all evens out. Unfortunately, the horrific losses spoil the impressive wins.

Yep, if you had told me that we'd be 6-2 at the halfway point, looking at the schedule I'd have guessed losses to the Chiefs and Rats. But the Bears and Jags??!!:facepalm:

The loss to the Bears didn't surprise me. That game had the Steelers' trademark egg-lay written all over it... and I wasn't surprised. The Jags game completely surprised and shocked me. That game was awful all around. The offense was terrible and the D was gashed by the Jaguars RBs.

Jags are 4-3 with the best defense. Game was close until the turnovers, which are not entirely bens fault. Bears game no excuse that was an egg.

that lions game took us from like 30th in red zone defense to 9th lol.

pass defense from 1st to 2nd. Overall yards from 2nd to 4th. points to 2nd.

our defense is still good, like I said in the other thread Lions were probably going to expose us a bit.

Eagles haven't played one good team all year... it's hard to say they are the best team all around if all they've done is beat up on bad teams. They're pretenders until they show they can beat a quality opponent.

    I'd rate it

    Pats
    Steelers
    Chiefs

    Eagles
    Vikings
    Bills
    Seattle
    Rams
    New Orleans

One of the weirdest seasons I have watched. I have no clue about how, what or when with this team. One thing I do know though is, the Steelers seem to work out what they can to win enough games, they still have to probably beat the Patriots to win it all.

I swear some of you never see anything positive about this team. In the eyes of some, we have lost before we play. If this season hasn't convinced some of you of the parity in the NFL, nothing will. Any team in this league can win on any given Sunday (and they have).

The offense is worse than expected. The defense is better than expected. I still don't think the Steelers will ever beat the Patriots, ever again, as long as Tom Brady is QB.

This is parity. Plain and simple.

None of us can predict the end of the season. Way too many hypotheticals and scenarios between now and the playoffs.

Let us find out what the landscape looks like in two to three weeks time. Until then, savor the win.

This. Matt Stafford is no joke. If the Lions org actually puts a solid team around him, then they'll be a force.

You've gotta be sh!tting me. WTF?

Are the Dolphins on crack? This is good for my fantasy team... Ajayi is one of my RBs and Eagles have a better offense than Dolphins. But, I fear Blount will get the bulk of the carries.
