We are better than this!!!!!!!!

I see the tallent on this team even with all the injuries and i still hold out hope that pride and history will motivate this team to kick some butt but week after week we slip deeper and deeper into the black hole with no means of getting out. So close but yet so far, glass half empty as a fan i love this team and i want them to be successful and prosperous but they are the little engine that could only difference they can't and its going to be a long off season yet again.

 

This team has the talent to compete with anyone and no one can tell me otherwise. The problem is its mentally where we are lacking and until we can somehow fix that we will continue to see more of the same. Proper execution requires both mental and physical skill. We can never seem to achieve both and thats what makes us average.

 

I am not so sure it seems as if we are lacking on the offensive line and secondary

 

Wow. I really did think that yesterday would be a turning point. I expected to see energy, fire, urgency. Boy was I disappointed. This team has played with absolutely no heart this past two weeks. After the "lesson learned", "come to Jesus" moment last week, I expected them to kick-a$$ from the start yesterday. Instead, they acted like they could turn the intensity on and off as they saw fit.

I still believe this team can go to the dance, and maybe even stay for a round or two, but they need to show that they even want it. They need to show that the desire is there. They can talk a good game and tell the fans that they're going to get it together, but guess what... If they don't have it together by next week - it's over. There's no more time to figure it out. They win out and they're in. They lose and they're out.

Play with some HEART, Steelers players! Your fans certainly have a ton more than you've showed these past two weeks!
