Tomlin has to go!! Defense is horrible and we are so undisciplined. If we had taken all the extra points instead of going for 2. The game was over. Wonder why we are the only team that goes for 2 in the first quarter?? Our head coach!!

 

Not Tomlin's fault... our defense is young and rebuilding. We need to be patient with this roster.

 

We still would have lost.

 

Who knows?? Our defense would have played differently. They would have had to have a touchdown not a field goal.

 

Patient?? How many other coach's go for 2 in the first quarter?? Zero but Tomlin. What does that tell you?? Bellichik go for 2?? No

 

Our D cannot defend against against the pass. Gay can't cover anybody, Davis gets a 15 yarder for face mask and the list goes on. They said that LaBeau's time was over well I have not seen anything where the D has improved at all. I may get slammed for saying this but in my opinion this team and franchise is living off of the 70's reputation and you don't win to many games that way. Some day Ben is going to hang it up and we have no one to take his place. You would think something or some person should be ready to step in but no we are the mighty Steelers who are getting there asses kicked.

 

God help us when Ben decides to retire. This team will be darn near unwatchable.

I wish we had a coach who could take advantage of Ben's last few years. We have to make the most of it because the time after will absolutely suck.

James Harrison said after the game "that was totally ****ty we are quite awful".

 

After the game:

Ben - "They are a great football team. We're undisciplined and not accountable. That's why they're one of the best in the business and we're not right now."

 

Wow. Just, wow. Can you imagine if Tom Brady made this comment about the Patriots? Undisciplined and not accountable. Am I reading too much into this? I read a tweet in another post where Ben said that he went to Tomlin and asked that he help to demand more discipline from the team and now this! Is Ben starting to get a little frustrated with his head coach and his unbuttoned up approach to the game?

 

He seems to be beyond a little frustrated. This team has been dis-jointed going back to the Tebow game. It has to be getting really old.

 

If I had a gun to my head I'd say that I'd prefer a Quantum Leap reboot as opposed to Highway to Heaven but I'm just glad we live in a country where such things can be constantly pondered and disagreed upon. No hard feelings to any diehard Michael Landon fans. I could also go for a Bonanza or Little House on the Prairie reboot as well just to prove that I'm not totally biased against Michael Landon.
