Struggled through the first few eps. Was wondering WTF is happening here. Last night things became much clearer. Got so much more interesting. Anyone else watching?

I've heard it's not bad. I don't watch it and I openly admit that I can't stand M. Night. I mean I just despise every single one of his gimmicky movies. I did see someone say on IGN last night that it finally hit its stride while we were talking about Hannibal. Which, if you didn't know, is the greatest show on tv. I mean it is just so phenomenally well done. Season 3 just started and it fills the gap between Steelers seasons.

BFT...Really you didnt like the sixth sense?? IMO that is a top 10 movie starting from 1970. and Signs? Another great movie. Ill give you M. Night has had more bombs than hits BUT when he hits its a grand slam.

Really BFT Hannibal the best show on TV? I have watched season one....Season two has been available to me for some time. Just not that interested in viewing it.

    Hell on wheels
    Game of thrones
    Walking dead
    Americans

Just so many better shows on.

Nope. Hannibal trumps them all. Incredible writing. Incredible acting. Incredible cinematography. Also pushes the envelope big time for what is allowed on tv. I put Madds right there with Hopkins for his take on Hannibal. I put Hugh Dancy above Ed Norton for his take on Will. Season 2 was phenomenal and one of the best season finales I've ever seen. I have heard those other shows you are talking about are awesome though.

Guess I will have to give season two a shot. It will have to be spectacular to beat Hell on Wheels though.Give that a view when you can my friend.

Signs is actually the only one I find tolerable. His other films are just so gimmicky. It has been rumored that Unbreakable is gonna become a series too.

Yeah season 2 is a lot better than season 1. There are so many awesome things that happen and Chilton and Verger both show up and absolutely rule. I'm telling you dude. Watch it. I've heard that show is good too. I think it used to be on Netflix or something. I'm a Civil War geek and it should be up my alley but I think it's more post war but still in the era aint it?

Lincoln had actually campaigned on building a railway across the country. Maybe that's what it's based on?

If I remember season one correctly. This railway started just after the death of Lincoln. Mid 1865.

Is it like a lot of sexual stuff and harsh language because I don't watch shows like that. Violence doesn't really bother me.

You expect good taste from a guy who puts TMNT on a pedestal???

Signs was great by the way, loved that movie. I know some find it boring as heck but I liked the psychological aspect of it.

    You are a paradox :lolol:

Dude don't be hatin'! LOL! I will give you the synopsis for pretty much every M. Night movie. People THINK they know what's going on. THEN there's twist that totally changes everything and then makes the first 87 minutes of the film mean basically nothing. Yep. That's about it. LOL. As far as violence goes, I guess I should clarify that I don't mind like people having shootouts and things like that but really "gratuitous" stuff I don't like. I mean I wouldn't want to watch Saw and movies like that because I've heard they are really bad and some people call them "torture porn" even. I don't know whether they have bad language or not. TMNT has brilliantly crafted characters and phenomenal action and stories. The Nickelodeon version is absolutely masterful. Sean Astin, Seth Greene, Corey Feldman, and Jason Biggs do their best work of their career on it. Not to mention Lewis Black and John Heder killing it in smaller roles. Most would probably be surprised to learn that TMNT was conceived for adults and was meant to make fun of Frank Miller comics and the first run of comics is very dark and the Turtles kill people and even use guns and everything.

Id just like to add that Jon Heders best work was Napoleon Dynamite, academy award level performance.

Yeah it ruled. IN TMNT he plays Napoleon Bonafrog and it is absolutely hilarious.

Its mostly the violence. The sex and language are toned down.. the show being on AMC and all.

Blast.....As far as Im concerned the guy can like what he likes. You or I may not be into the TMNT thing but my friend BFT is. The Napoleon Dynamite movie I thought was terrible however I will defend his right to like it.

I just cant understand why he likes either. But thats just him. And I will go the my grave defending my friend BFTs bad taste.
