Were 1-3 and could be 0-4. Pump the brakes. Lady luck was on our side in the bungles game.

Just sit him for year and get him 100 per cent healthy for next year. This is disposable year for Steelers

Could he have reaggravated it doing those drills while on IR? I know there is a reason for this,
Don't care where it is, I only care if they have a Steelers bar nearby?

Like a lot of injuries, you really notice it once you stop moving. Perhaps it wasn't bothering him until he stopped being as active as he was when he was playing. The more rest he got, the more it bothered him until they realized it had to be dealt with. Or perhaps the doctors didn't feel it was necessary at first. Or maybe it was done right away and we're just hearing about it now.

    Lots of possibilities.

I had my right knee scoped way back in 95. I had scar tissue built up and it would pinch in the joint whenever I would be bent over for longer than a minute and then straightened back up. It was annoying as hell always felt like my knee cap was disconnecting. I didn't rehab it correctly so it's always been weaker since then which is problematic since it's my dominant leg when I skate.

It’s a small resort town in the mountains

It has a horse track Ruidoso Downs

    And a ski resort

My wife’s family live there and are horse people but not at the track

    Hunting Outfitters, rides, sleighs

Even though it's not ideal I'm glad he's taking the time to get healthy. Hoping against hope his career doesn't take a turn like JJ's with injury after injury occurring.

I heard about Watt being on the sideline at today's game. I thought he was having surgery.

They going to postpone it a few more weeks?

If the injury was bad enough to eventually require surgery, that is something a decent medical staff should have been able to figure out much sooner. If anything, he should have been more active as they got farther away from the opener, not less.

Since glenn just went for the mocking facepalm, which you deserve, I'll explain it to you. He already had the surgery over a week ago.

Thanks for the Info. I didn't see him on the sideline just heard the announcers talking about him being there, so I don't know if he was wearing a brace or anything.

He was sitting on the bench when I saw him, but I doubt it. He wouldn't need it nine days after arthroscopic knee surgery. I had a torn meniscus cleaned up with arthroscopic surgery on my knee five years ago. It was nothing. I used the crutches for four days only because the doctor told me to do so. I really didn't need it after the first day, and I'm in a hell of a lot worse shape than T.J. Watt. lol

The first post in this thread explained that he already had the surgery.
