    Maybe the coaches could scheme something up for him to take away the opposing offenses scheme against him. It’s 101 to design a plan for the other teams best player - Tomlin has no counter punch.

    Dude is just thick headed with a vocabulary and phrasing more creative than his game plans. He should shift focus to what’s most important. Obviously….

    I mean...

    The only way T.J. Watt is being traded is via a big haul. If there was ever a time to trade him, this season would be hit. This upcoming draft is way too top heavy in terms of EDGE Talent; only three players I'd consider drafting given their immediate impact. Abdul Carter, James Pearce Jr. (Character issues or not) and Shemar Stewart. That is, more or less, the list of players who will instantly Juice up a pass rush.

    Mykel Williams is the best run defending EDGE but that is about it as far as Round One EDGEs go, Mike Green is a twitched up Alex Highsmith but he possesses shorter length (a major problem I fear) and Landon Jackson is far more all traits no translation.

    From a Steelers perspective, Mykel Williams would actually make the most sense to draft. That said, for such an event to happen, three things are required;

    1.) A team wanting to trade for him.

    2.) The amount of draft capital.

    3.) T.J. Watt signing off on any of this.

    Until any of this happens; any rumors or reports are nothing more than speculation and/or fantasizing.

    No RB got a big payday in free agency this year, if Najee has a good year he will get paid the next year.

    Trade Watt and throw in Tomlin as the sweetener

    ANYTHING ELSE is deck chair rearranging on the TITANIC. that that have semi intelligence have finally figured it out

    Kirk's contract is $27.5 this year and $35 the next two years, less than Darnold signed with in Seattle. Reports are that Rogers is asking for Darnold-type money. Only the first $100 million of Cousin's contract is guaranteed, so cutting him after this year would mean a $15 million cap hit next year and 0 the year after. Not a really bad contract cap wise.

    You're leaving out the part that Cousins sucks now he was one of the league leaders in interceptions last season.

    Lets hope the Steelers don't over pay like they did for Ben.
