    Their schedule is favorable and they are in great shape in the tiebreaker situation with only 2 conference losses. If they beat the Bills in a few weeks, they're getting one of the WC. They may get one even if they lose that game.

    That game (KC) is going to be one the Steelers will be kicking themselves over in early January more than any other.

    They have to go 6-1 the rest of the way to finish 10-6. I would be absolutely shocked if they did that... 5-2 won't be easy for them either.

    Two games against the Raiders (which isn't a pushover anymore), two against the Chargers (Rivers can win one on his own) and then a trip to Baltimore (not the toughest, but definitely capable of being a loss).

    They seem to be playing good ball, but that can all change in a heartbeat. 10-6 ought to do it, and that's a mark I think we should be able to reach.

    Loved what they did to Mr. Regular Season Wonder. Can't wait for us to play the Donkeys. Looking at the final 6 for us they could run the table. Even losing 2 would leave us a 10-6. Bye comes at a great time. Here's to the stretch run!

    KC is a team to watch out for down the stretch, but if they do really well they will likely knock Buffalo and the Raiders down a peg, which helps us. If we tie KC at 11-5 or 10-6, and they get the 5 seed and us the 6, that's ok with me.

    They still play the Raiders (twice) and Buffalo. Also teams still very much in contention.

    Steelers just need to take care of their business and win, then you won't have to worry about it.

    We have the tiebreaker over KC. We beat them. Multiple teams being tied would hurt us, but I'm not worried.

    I think if the Steelers go 10-6 as well they make it. I think the two easiest games the Steelers have left that they should win are the Colts here and at Cleveland the last week of the season. That gets them to 8 wins then if you can just go 2-2 in the games at Seattle,Cincy and Baltimore and home against Denver that gets you to 10-6. I don't see both the Bengals and Ravens both sweeping us the Steelers will win at least one of those games and should be able to win at least one more of the three. It's not going to be easy but it's definitely doable.

    Right now, we are leading the way, teams behind us have even less leeway to screw up.

    Going to be harder for any of those teams to get to 10-6, which they will absolutely need to do, I dont think we will finish less than that. I think we actually equal last seasons mark, 11-5 again.

    Buffalo,KC,and Jets are the 3 teams the Steelers have to worry about most. The Steelers just need to beat out 2 of those 3 teams which I think they can do. I won't totally rule out both Oakland and Miami yet who are both 4-5 right now but the Steelers own the head to head tiebraker over the Raiders and the Dolphins just aren't that good and their schedule is just too tough. Some games to watch on the bye week this weekend are KC at San Diego. San Diego is due to beat somebody they have lost 6 straight and it's going to be hard for KC I feel to win back to back games out West in Denver and San Diego. The Bills play at New England Monday night which they won't win, and the Jets play at Houston which is no gimmie game. Overall these 3 teams play some tough games coming up and play each other coming up. So as long as the Steelers take care of their own business they will be fine.

    Games we should win:
    @Seattle
    @Baltimore
    @Cleveland
    INDY

    Games we could win:
    @Cincinnati
    DENVER

    If we win all of the "should" games, we are in. If we lose one, we will have to win one of the "could" games... Which is absolutely doable, and really I expect us to win at least one of those games (if not both).

    I'm not saying 10-6 will be a cake walk, but I expect us to get there or surpass it. If we can finally catch a break and stay healthy the rest of the season, we will have another opportunity in the playoffs to chase number 7

    I w
    I'm not going to put the Seattle game as a game we should win at this point. Yes they looked bad against Arizona last night and aren't as good this season but that game in 13 days is still going to be a tough game to win and a game the Seahawks absolutely will need to win for the playoffs. Plus, that's still a long flight out to play that game bye week or not. Do I think it's a game the Steelers can win?? Definitely but I don't think if they lose that game they are totally done. I think we beat Indy and Denver here and win in Cleveland the last week. So as long as we win in either Seattle,Cincy or Baltimore we will get in at 10-6. I have a hard time seeing as losing all three of those games we will win at least one of them.

    Yeah I think beating @ Cincinnati is more attainable than beating Seattle in their house.

    That Seattle game is still the one that worries me the most. They have the means to just deathcrush our OL while maintaining tight coverage.

    ALL of the games remaining on the schedule are toss-ups imo. Aside from the obvious hard ones.. You know the Ravens will be playing hard, with a chance to knock us out of the playoffs in their house.. Same thing with the Browns. Knocking us out in their house on the last day of the season would be huge for that franchise. They did move the ball pretty well against us yesterday. They had a couple bad breaks, or it would have been a closer game. They will likely be auditioning for a new HC. I don't expect them to roll over like in previous years. The "easiest" game to me, would be the Colts at home. They are a weak football team without their franchise QB. Even with Luck, they are weak on all fronts this year. The only thing that could hurt is it's a primetime game, and opposing teams always get up for those. Luck could very well be healed by then too. Who knows what the Broncos will look like in a month? That could be either good or bad for us.

    I just think that we are a better team than they are. They haven't looked good all year really, and are a botched call on MNF away from being 3-6.

    I'm not saying it's going to be an easy win, but it most certainly is a game that we should win.

    In all honesty if we play well, we can win every game remaining on the schedule. It sucks that most of them are road games, but I think our remaining schedule is pretty favorable.

    The Cardinals didn't have a problem scoring on the Seahawks in their house, the Steelers can do the same.

    I think the Raiders and Jets will start to fall off, more worried about the Bills and Chiefs.

    I thought I was going to die laughing last night when Collinsworth said that Pittsburgh and Seattle are two teams no one wants in the tournament because they can make some noise. By nobody does that include you as well Chris?

    Oh yeah, the Steelers definitely have the capability to hang up 40 on Seattle, but in order for that to happen Cody Wallace needs to have the game of his life. I think that strong, athletic DL will give our guys all they can handle. I will be surprised if it's an easy game. I'm expecting results like we saw versus the Rams.
