Since the entire NFL fanbase thinks Tomlin is a great coach....besides Steelers fans....might as well get some value for him and bring back Munchak as HC...fire rest of staff and let Munchak hire his own people.

Yeah because Munchak is doing such a great job with that Denver's OL , the Steelers aren't going to hire a 60 year old guy to be HC.

Well he just started being a HC last year. 13-8. He's winning with Jacoby Brissett which is pretty damn impressive all things considered.

The only HC job Munchak will get if the Broncos fire Fangio, and make him the interim HC.

Fangio as a first time HC, at over age 60 looks to be in over his head. Munchak has been a HC before, but the Steelers will go younger on their next hire IMO.

Ageism is just as bad as narcissism, racism, etc.

For the Steelers it is. That would be a big change in their philosophy.

That's also how NFL owners work, I think there have been only 3 guys get their first HC job in the NFL at age 60 or older.

Well in that case the Steelers should hire a 90 year old coach.

OK, like one of you said, I am not a Tomlin hater or lover ... but I do COMPLETELY BLAME HIM for our loss to the Saints at the end of last season. Why, you ask. I noticed nearly every Saints player trying to knock the ball loose every time they got near it before our player was down. This cost us 2 fumbles and a lost catch, including the first down inside the 15, gained by JuJu which would have put us in a position to score the game winner. To see JuJu crying on the bench afterwards broke my heart because his heart is the kind that EVERY STEELER should have. I also told my local friends he was ten times the man Antonio was and likely his equal as a receiver. Time has proven the first part of that correct! NO, Tomlin does not teach enough BASICS and after having SUCH incredible talent, to not be in any of the last 3 Superbowls is a tragedy! Dealing away Tomlin would not bother me much even though I LUV the fact that we have had only 3 coaches in the last 50 years.

Bud Grant is 92 but I think it would be better if we went younger and hired the more youthful Don Shula who is only 89.

Tomlin and Steelers need to beat the bottom feeders on the upcoming schedule. Do that...and Tomlin should stay and not be banished to DC.

My feelings about Tomlin is no secret however he has done a fine job this season. No matter what imo it would be very hard to get rid of him after this year.
