I am hopeful that they can beat Washington. They are better now than they were earlier in the year but the Steelers should have enough unless they play like they did last night again and drop everything in sight.

@Bills the following Sunday is a different story. That has L written all over it

I'm more worried about Covid-19 infecting more Steelers than the Football Team defense. The offense, especially the WRs, will be ready to redeem themselves. Just hope there's no more positive cases.

Can we stop anointing the Washington Team Football like they are the second coming of Joe Montanna led 49ers, they're not even a first place team in the NFC least. C'mon man.

My main concern is how we react to a first loss, that will say more than anything. Just don't let it be come playoff time.

In an alternate world the Steelers played their best game of the year against the ravens and won 51-0. They turned their heads toward Buffalo, overlooking the redskins and lost against Washington. Everyone in TSF complained about losing a trap game.

In the world we exist in (when not dropping acid) we played like crap against the ravens and will be fully focused in the redskins. We sit our key starters with 10 minutes left in the game and still win by 2 scores.

Make no mistake. We can't overlook Washington.

Yeah, their record isn't so hot, but they've actually been playing solid ball. Their defense is doing well, and lately their offense has picked up.

On paper, we should win. But if we play against them like we played a few games this year (Wednesday in particular), they can take us.

Of course, every time I've worried that this might be the game we fall, we end up blowing the team out, so, you know. ;)

Didn't he predict a losing season for Tomlin? Guy doesn't fire on all cylinders, just sayin.

I hope I'm wrong, the Steelers are coming off of 4 days between games, Washington will have 10 days off since their last game. The Steelers are dealing with injuries, and guys out because of Covid.

I read Scary Terry has a bum ankle... that dude is basically their offense.

We should beat them as long as Steelers actually show up to play ball.

We're a better team for sure, but that doesn't always mean anything.
The matchup isn't favourable for us.
I think we will win but it will be a very close game

I'm going to make a flow chart for this tomorrow, I think. It will basically tell you if the Steelers will win or lose. Path 1 will be is it Monday Night? Then yes they will win . Path 2 will be are the Steelers Playing? Then yes they will win. End of chart.

I wrote about this in another thread so I’ll just say I think the Steelers win by 10 or more points.

Think people are propping up WFT a bit too much and Steelers are going to be looking to get the taste of the last game out of their mouths.

It seems every team, every week the Steelers are playing the Superbowl defending champion (according to some people here). We're DOOMED! ...team is 4 and 7. give me a break.

The problem is that we're consistently inconsistent which makes it very difficult to be fully confident on whoever we play. We should win but who knows. We could blow them out, win by luck, or lose. I believe we'll stay undefeated until we're not.

Steelers looked lethargic and unfocused Wednesday. I think that very fact is why Tomlin was so bent. It was a real weird, disjointed gap between Jax and the Rats. Hopefully HCMT has the team reset and refocused for Monday afternoon.

Rookie RB Antonio Gibson is their offense, he's a dual threat RB, if they stop him then they should win.

The only positive about Washington is they're 2nd in sacks. That shouldn't be a problem if Ben is getting rid of the ball within 2.4 seconds.

Local talking head in my area has a 30 minute show where you can discuss the NFL. There was a lot of Steeler talk. He and some call in idiots said we will finish 13-3 and have zero chance in the playoffs.
