Was drafting Pouncey a mistake ?

with velasco here it sure seems like a better fit with him at guard. I keep saying, we have to match up these linemen. not two quicker guys and 3 slow guys. the right mix is not together.

how about a line of adams,velasco,wallace,foster,gilbert. < that's more matched and a jumbo power package.

or go mobile and go with: beachum,pouncey,velasco,D.D.,long. < speed mobile line. all these guys can move and still have a stable base in the middle. it also gives you mobility from the tackles and guards. I know if I ran the line, long would be part of the 9 or10 kept. we also will have embernate back next year. I expect some game from him too eventually.

I just don't see any method to the setup of the line. draft status and panic signings, as with kemoeatu, colon, starks in the past, and foster, whimper, batiste, Wallace now) are a big part of the mess. of course I've never seen Wallace play since college and shouldn't say he was a bad signing. just that they seem to have little faith in him since he's never dressed.
