Who's Warren Sapp?
He is a judge on some BBQ competition show now.
Warren Tree Sapp....
He took a limb to the head....
I remember him dancing through our warmups before a game in Tampa Bay then starting a fight. Then the game started and Cowhers boys put a 2x4 upside their head first pass Chad Scott pick6 and they never let up.
Sapp has been a Steelers hater ever since that game
I think you and some of the other people missed what he was saying. From reading his responses he is implying that heyward isn’t any good.
That was the Paper Champions game.... Lee Flowers. Joey Porter learned how to talk smack by being Flowers' understudy.
Cam has to own that until he shows up in the playoffs. He played horribly in our last 2 playoff games. Warren Sapp is a HoFer and can say that if he means it.
Throwing shade . I like it
This Warren Sapp?
I will never forget when the Steelers went down to Tampa with Bettis and laid the smack down on Sapps top-ranked Bucs.
Who’s 97? He’s the player who didn’t rape a prostitute
7 time pro bowl, 4 time all pro, all time jackass lol
Isn't that the guy who made the Pro Bowl despite having less sacks as a DL than Lee Flowers - a SS?
(Edit: I'm joking kind of. Idk if he made the Pro Bowl that year. I also don't know if they finished the season that way. Just remember it being humorous when Lee pointed it out)
Sapp is another idiot that is trying to stay relevant well after his time has passed. He needs to lay low and shut up. JMO>
Yep, and Steelers safety Flowers after the game calling them paper champions.
he's the guy who found it necessary to cheap shot a lineman literally 50 yards away from the ball and claim it was necessary. He'll always be nothing more than a loud mouth cheap shot artist as far as i'm concerned.
If I recall correctly Faneca owned Sapp. Heyward plays in a different scheme with different expectations. Both were great players in what was required of them.
I don't believe that Sapp would be a great player in a 3-4. I think that Heyward shines in a 3-4, 2 DEs, and multiple front scheme. Heyward would probably shine in a 4-3 or any scheme. Heyward is a leader. Sapp not so much a leader as far I remember. Haters gonna hate or simply lack respect for other players or the game.
Respek the game and other players Sapp.
Must be CTE
Agree with everything you say, but Heyward is playing mostly in a 2-4 scheme, which makes it all the more amazing.
Yeah and generally when the Steeler give up big yards in the run game Heyward is on the sideline receiving a breather.
Unfortunately, Tuitt and Tyson are out. The Steelers made due with what they had to make games close and to give the team a chance to win. Backup players are backup players for a reason. Most back ups are not even close to being star caliber players.
The Lions are an NFL team with NFL coaches and players that perform for their livelihoods. Can't win for this team today then they are performing for their future jobs. How people could watch the game and come away thinking otherwise boggles my mind. Records don't mean anything at any level. The worst team at any level is coming to win.
The Steelers had multiple opportunities to win vs the Lions. The coaches put the team in positions to win. The players failed to execute on the opportunities.
