The thing that bothers me is what we have seen of him, he sucks.

I hope he shows up one day.

I can agree with that notion. He's seen little run as a RB (mainly because he's been outperformed by other backs) and had his KO stint end in a gaffe that likely costs us the football game (not that we would've won without it, but it ended our game). I am definitely disappointed because I thought he'd be further along. He was supposed to be as NFL ready as anyone in the draft. Its not something we've seen yet, but I hope we will.

the HYPE here was that he was NFL ready. Khan and Tomlin failed on this one, WHIFFED. Better players were drafted and are STARTING and producing across the league - a failure, so far. a big bust.

it was a top 3 area of need for us. This kid is NO GOOD as of now.

    of course they did.

Harris had thin tread after 4 years of pounding.

and he could NEVER hit a home run.

where they FAILED was with their 3rd round draft pick.....

We passed on Scattebo for Johnson, just unbelievable. Warren, Scattebo and Gainwell would have been one the best RB trios in the league.

I will be more excited when he does it against a defense that isn't pathetic. The Steelers did a good job of stopping themselves a few times in the first half of that game,

The wise choice would have been both.

Keep in mind that Johnson hasn't gotten many reps yet, and I consider that due more to his subpar pass protection in college and a 41 year-old QB than anything right now (kickoff returns aside). Off the top of my head I don't remember what the scouting reports said about Skattebo's pass pro, but he got his opportunity early when Tracy went down.

Skattebo looks like the better pick right now, but it's an extremely small sample size for Johnson (and not much more for Cam). I'd like to see what KJ can do with an extended outing behind the version of the OL we've seen the past few games.

Let's refrain from name-calling. If you think someone said/did something dumb, keep it to the comment/action and go after that.

I agree that it's a little too soon to make a final judgement, though the early returns make it look like a bad decision.

If it walks like a duck, is slow to the hole and commits bone headed plays …it is likely a bust at Rb. It is what is is.

Warren always was better the N Harris. But Tomlin did not think so during Harris tenure as a Steeler.

Strangely enough there wasn’t much of a reaction from anyone other than the bartender who had to pull out a drink book to see what the he’ll was just ordered

I’ve been friends with these two guys for way over 50 years
