I have seen some articles with hines coming back in a raven uniform. What do you think? I don't think it will happen but what kind of welcome would he get then?

Don't think he would, but if he does, all the more power to him. We can't dump our girlfriends and then tell them who they can date.

I mean when he comes back to pitt. There are two teams I hope he stays away from. I think the pats would be a nightmare but I dont think he would do it. The ravens seem to be a possibility. have read it on a couple of sights. That would tarnish his days with us a little for me. its not like woodson for me. I think the way hines has said he hates the ravens and the way he plays against them it would hurt me alittle bit. I know its business but I think alot of fans would it personal

I don't think they would do it. I think that most players are friends with each other. There is legitimate dislike between Ward and a couple of Baltimore defenders. It would be really awkward for him to be in the same locker room as Suggs.

If the Baltimore Ravens offer Hines Ward a contract, and it is the only or the best offer he gets, Hines Ward will put on the purple. It will be that simple.

Just read they "cancelled" Lee Evans contract so there's a WR spot open. Wonder if they'll make a move on either Ward or Wallace. That would suck.

Wish you were wrong, but I don`t think you are..
As hard as it is for us fans to believe that he would play for them, or the Clowns...
    He wants to keep playing.
We didn`t want to pay him(even the vet minimum, that he made a point of saying he would play for)...
I can`t imagine him making friends in the Cravens locker room, but if they paid him, he would do his job.
He would probably have less enemies in the Clowns locker room, and they desperatley need a good reciever...
I hope he goes to the NFC, or at least out of our division, but nothing would surprise me, nowadays.
    :(
He does have the choice to retire(as a Steeler), but I couldn`t blame him if he wants to keep playing.
Personally, I think he has a couple years left in him. Wish we didn`t let him go.

Or make a tender on Wallace.

Cincy on the other hand would be smart to tender Wallace, they would have 2 excellent Wide outs and knock us down a bit for 2012.

The dislike comes from the fact that they were enemies on the field... key word, were.

Look at guys like TO. He played for the Cowboys and the Eagles hated him... then he comes to the Eagles and helps get them to the Super Bowl and they loved him.

I don't think the Ravens will be interested in him as much as he is interested in them.

I can't see him being a Raven, just too much past history. It would be like TO becoming a Cowboy or something.

    Wait, hang on...

Perhaps the main problem for us in terms of where he ends up is that Ward's style of play is quite distinctively "AFC North". Though I still like the suggestion he might go to the Niners.

Hines will go to whatever team pays him the most and has the best chance wo win a Championship. I would not count the Ravens out.

Say what you will about players not liking each other but when it comes down to it money always talks and BS always walks.

Comparing Hines personality to that piece of you know what T.O's personality is an insult to Hines. Hines is more loyal than that pig.

I don't think Thigpen was comparing Ward to TO.

I'm not sure why you think a player who is released by one team wouldn't sign with another team in their division. Loyalty only goes so far.
