Wallace wants to go deep

By going deep atleast a couple times a game will
loosen up the CB and safety positions, meaning that there will
be more intermediate routes available to your offense. So Mike Wallace is
correct, that they should take a couple of shots/game downfield. Our problem
is that our OL can not hold out the opposing team long enough for the plays to develope.

 

It could be that when there's a deep ball called Ben tends to always look for it and then hold the ball too long and has a tendency to force it down field even if the underneath routes are open he looks away from them. Perhaps Haley has identified this as a problem so he keeps Ben out of that situation. It's all the routes are shorter routes Ben has no choice but to get rid of it to the shorter routes.

i have to agree with this rob. ben gets antsy sometimes and locks on. he looks short and he knows he should hit the wide open outlet, but his arm just won't throw it there. i even laugh when i see him do it. it reminds me of the movie dumb and dumber when he wants to date the leading lady and asked her if theres a chance. she says one in a million, and he says , so your saying there's a chance. TTF , if you please? LOL that's ben in those moments. so your saying there's a chance we could still go deep. i love ben, but sometimes he has brain to arm problems. he has taken alot of sacks though.
