    Saints cut TE Rashaun Allen a few days ago and the Steelers had him in for a visit today. Not a waiver claim, but relevant.

    I would like a CB and a FS and another QB.No one spevific yet at the CB and FS spot ,but I have a Feeling that Webb is getting it at as a QB ,I would like him to come compete for the job if he gets cut..

    Agree with PWP about the need for a Safety. I've not seen any names jumping out from the waiver wire though.

    I saw him on that list as well. We should have gotten a decent look at him during the shared practices.

    Zack Sanchez will have a few teams after him. Mind you, if you're a decent CB or TE on waivers, you know you've got a good chance of seeing the field with the steelers, plus we're contenders...

    Just read that TE Rob Housler was cut. He had some buzz coming out a couple drafts back.

    What are you talking about they have 3 QBs on the roster, they just signed Mettenberberger last week. Webb sucks, started a playoff game for Minnesota and he was terrible looked like he didn't belong in the league.

    I am good with the CBs for this year...and I see the S spot as 4 or 5 deep...starters and depth...I don't see any TE's I like on the waiver wire...so I will roll with whats here and hope Green is there for the back half of the season.

    I do think we need a 4th T. the 4 guys I like off the wire.... Luke Marquardt might have the highest ceiling.... Khalif Barnes has the most vet ability, Tony Hills and Reid Fragel.......both cheap...both just there in an emergency. I like Fragel more do to his athleticism...Fragel could be inserted as the blocking TE...and while mostly a blocking threat.. the former TE could maybe catch 4 passes this year....just enough to keep the D honest.

    Are the unclaimed guys UFA now?

    If yes we need to at least look at zach Sanchez or Alex Carter.
