Definitely agree about Kuhn. Vrabel was better with Pats scheme than ours, but not HOF at either place.

I think I read when Vrable left we had no spot for him? Wrong?
I always liked him and was upset when he left

Very few make it past their first contract now.

Not even remotely the same now, we lost great talent after great talent every single season, they didn't pay their FA's then. You knew that when a guys first contract was up, he was gone. The amazing thing is that they always had someone to replace them with.

When Vrabel was with the Steelers he didn't do much with his opportunities, he's not a Hall Of Famer.

Jim Haslett was the D coordinator for most of Vrabel's time in Pittsburgh but the D had a lot of carry over from Lebeau's first tenure. Perhaps the poster who said Vrabel didn't fit the scheme is correct.

I guess Donahoe/Cowher would be to blame under that premise.

Yep. I knew when Kuhn left we would have a hard time ever getting him back

Kuhn is a fan fave in GB for sure. They love him like we love Heath.
