    He will appeal.

Hopefully he loses but who is to say at this point? He is a repeat offender so there is something that will work against him.

We will have to wait and see.

Sadly this won't keep him from playing against us.

Something seriously wrong with that guy.

Wouldn't you think at this point that there would be a sort of unspoken bounty on this buffoon? I mean the guy is a threat to people's livelihoods and if the league isn't gonna get rid or him then a little vigilante justice might be in order.

This guy is a pile of garbage who just needs to be suspended permanently. I actually have a friend at work who is a Bengals fan who constantly tries to argue with me that Burfict isn't a dirty player.

I love his rationale for thinking he doesn't deserve a suspension though. " I've gotten better, I only had one personal foul penalty last year, it was a legal hit,I hit him in the shoulder, not the head, I helped him up, he said we were good, it was a legal hit." I watched the replay of it and in no way shape or form can you even think that the player he destroys was getting that ball. If they let it stand then guys all over the league are going to be decking guys in the 5 yard chuck zone.

I was honestly thinking the other day how I wish Hines could have played against this clown and straight up leveled him.

    Suspension reduced to three games.

    The NFL is garbage.

Many of us knew he would have the suspension reduced anyways.

Honestly though, the NFL is sending a message though regarding the conduct of players on the field. Issue is, players like Vontez Burfict will just enact on these same policies again.

Vontaze Burfict now has nearly $2 million dollars in fines for violating player safety rules.

I understand this is denting his wallet but to send a better message, he needs to be thrown out before someone becomes the next Darryl Stingley due to his apathy for others.

Nothing will change until someone is killed. Then it will be GODdell's head on a platter and the end of the NFL.

Only to be rewarded with an extension of his dirty play suspensions... What the hell is wrong with that team much less this league. Common sense and liability is all gone

And Coach Lewis said Burfict has changed his ways, citing a play where Burfict pulled up short of hitting a guy. Lewis said Burfict came over to the coach and said he didn't want to hit him high. OK coach whatever...
