More teams adopting Tomlin’s philosophy. Been some big names on the move lately.
All I remember is people on this board stating it's Tomlins fault for saying such "nonsense". Now, other teams are smart yet Tomlin still remains the clown.
Quite intriguing if you ask me.
Yep give in to their entitled ass lol,..Seems to me thats part of the problem with todays society..
This is nothing new. The same "phrase" has been used since the dawn of women.
Not verbatim but verboten
I would say "Let'em act like an ass. He's only hurting his own value." I wish I could say that.
The problem is if the guy has talent, even if the guy is being a miscreant, embarrassing the team, killing dogs, or flat out refuses to play, someone will always give him another chance.
How is Josh Gordon on an NFL roster right now?! He's missed 111 games in 10 seasons. He's played in 5 or less games in a season five times. Yet he started 7 games with Mahomes last year and only caught 5 balls!
Yet, they're bringing back another year. I thought roster spots were extremely valuable?
Volunteers are from Tennessee
Hostages? PUHLEASE. Stupid choice of words.
Did you even read it? Your analogy has nothing to do with it.
When one malcontent can ruin a season with his behavior, kick him to the curb and get what you can for him.
You think Houston is upset about getting a kings ransom for Watson?
Here is where the problem lies...
Every single circumstance, is it's own entirely unique circumstance. The correct course of action in one situation, may not necessarily be the correct course of action in another.
The "Volunteers not Hostages" remark is just another in a long line of witty one liners that Tomlin has used in his press conferences. A cute comment for sure, but certainly not words to live, or run a team by.
Not intriguing that people on this board call it nonsense
Half the people by definition have an below 100
And we welcome everyone
At least for a while
151 for Me , but because of stupid things I've done as a youth....it might be below 90s now.
I saw you snuggling up to my side
It does allow for age so you probably are still +/- the same
I actually checked once out of arrogance and was only short a point
Typical old dude that can’t handle change.
Because of 151?
I’ve seen plenty of your posts here. You don’t strike me as the type to be that upset about change or what every other generation is doing.
Another one of Popcorns stupid sayings...I've never seen a Coach talk so tough...But half the players on his team are knuckleheads and Social media Stars
I don’t know… I heard he was really pissed off when fire was invented, and cooking food became trendy.
We want volunteers and not hostages is tough talk? Lol.
I made a comment about the good old days to my grandfather who was very old and I was very young at the time and his response was “these are the good old days”. I am open to change. I just pick the new parts that I want to enjoy. For example this message board is my only form of social media. I have email and check it every few months. Few people have my cell number so I do respond to text. But that’s mostly so I don’t actually have to talk to people.
With that said give a couple beers in a bar and you will have a hard time shutting me up.
Dang You Prometheus....
I’m actually a good cook. Won my first contest at 10.
