Vince McMahon retires

But man, Vince and the WWE has been in my life since I was a toddler. The man totally changed the wrestling business for better or worse.

Definitely mixed emotions for me. I figured he'd pass away before retiring.

Wrestling is kinda a blend between sports and entertainment.

So do I actually. WWE and AEW does get press on Bleacher Report and ESPN. AWA was syndicated on ESPN before it went out of business. I mostly consider it live action theater myself. I won't debate it being scripted neither, because it is scripted. But the injuries are real and people died in the ring. Before MMA was a thing, most amateur wrestlers went to pro wrestling. But yea. Vince McMahon retiring is kinda a big deal in the sports world, precisely why it's getting the press it's getting.
