That's England they don't know any better, I wouldn't go to Yankee stadium to watch them play the Redsox and wear a Tampa Bay Rays jersey .

The first part was that people really overlooked some of AV's declining play based on his stance that fateful day at soldier field.

 

My wife went to a baseball game in Seattle wearing a Clemente T Shirt. She told me about how many people complimented her on her choice.

 

I guess when you are from Vegas you are just happy to have a team and where whatever. We have an under 18 hockey team in town and when the company I work for has a Norskies night with free admission to the game I still rock my Pens jerseys. It isn't a huge deal.

 

I certainly agree with the first part.

Maybe I’m oblivious, which is certainly an option, but I didn’t see the second part. I looked at the two issues as mutually exclusive. Maybe it was just me.

It wasn't a huge number of fans but I did see it. There would be bizarre statements like the whole OL played like crap except for AL he was good followed by statements about his patriotism. It was just strange.

My POV he was a patriot for volunteering to give his life in service of something bigger than himself and had nothing to do with what happened in Chicago.

 

If I went to a Yankees/Redsox game I wouldn't wear a jersey at all, I'm not a fan of either team, you guys act like it's required to wear a jersey to a game.

 

No we are not...., but when I got free tickets 2 See the Bears in Preseason I went with Bears fans, and I wasn't going 2 wear a Bears jersey...so I put on My Greg Lloyd , and a Razorbacks baseball cap. LoL. I got a lot of likes for the cap ...because the Razorbacks just had won the Basketball Tournament .

 

The Ravens signing AV makes no sense. AV signing with the Ravens makes a lot of sense. About 14,000,000,000 cents

 

I went to a Yankees game back in 91 when I was on a band trip to NYC to play at a festival at Carnegie Hall. We rode the subway to the game and I had on my standard Pirates hat and a wind breaker that had my high school and mascots logo on it. Funny thing was my classmates thought my attire made me look like a tourist. I said I'm with a group of over 100 students all wearing belly bags and cameras and you think crooks are going to look at my Grand Forks Central Redskins jacket and know I'm a tourist? Yeah like they need the hint. I did buy a Yankees ball cap though buy I was a fan from Pride of the Yankees, Babe Ruth baseball was America's past time thing.

 

No, actually they aren’t acting like that. They are supporting their own team. How can you miss that?
