Per Steelers Depot, the Vikings have promoted practice squad QB Kyle Sloter to the active roster, giving them 3 QBs. It looks like Bradford really is questionable.

    This is quite telling.

Should Bradford miss, that would be quite huge indeed.

Not sure who the 2nd stringer is, but I really liked what I saw from Sloter this preseason for the donkeys. Dude's got some poise. Not saying he's a threat but I can see why the Vikes grabbed him from Denver.

    Case Keenum is Bradford's back-up.

I really like the Steelers chances if Keenum starts.

PS QB. He'll go all Brady on us if he see's game action. We'll start playing prevent the instant he hits the field. Mark my words.

With a chance Bradford may not play, common sense would say we have a better chance to succeed against their #2. But would you be surprised if their #2 perform like Tom Brady against us?? ...seen it too many times

I LOVE our chances today, regardless of who plays QB for the Vikes. However, without Bradford my margin of victory goes from ~10 points to something higher.

Bradford has a history of major knee issues. Two ACL's. A game time decision. This ain't no Saints D he is facing. I see him being held out...

Case Keenum can win some ball games when he has a working ground game and a good defense .

Obviously Bradford is better than Keenum but this game is more about if the Vikings defense can stop our offense.

I like us in Heinz Field.

He had a working ground game against the Saints. Even without Tuitt, our front is much more stout than the Saints' front. I think those fearing the Vikings offense are overreacting to what they did vs NO.

My biggest concern is our own offense. Are they ready, or will they still be trying to put the pieces together? In my view if we lose it won't be because our defense got torched, it will be because our offense hasn't gelled yet. If we lose, I think it will be something like a 19-16 score that has us scratching our heads about the offense. I don't think that will happen with Home Ben leading the way.

Keenum isnt impressive, he started 9 games for the rams 2016, he had 9 TDs 11 picks and 5 fumbles to show for his starts thats why he is with the vikings this year, this would be his first start with the vikes if he is next man up, our defense cant let him look good in his first game...........

Remember, for a long time now the Steelers many times play down to the level of completion. We need a coach to coach against that.

    Indeed and concur.

All the more reason I also hope that Bradford plays.

The great teams that have won championships in professional team sports history always want to win against their opposition when the opposition itself is at is absolute best and strongest.

The stairway is no expection. Rough flights of steep stepping paths will lie ahead. However, for Pittsburgh to succeed, perseverance, dedication and commitment will be essential for the journey ahead.

Looks like the Vikings have to go with Keenum.

Bradford did little and left warmups early.
