Unlike many, I've always liked Manning. Probably because I always rooted for him vs. Brady and he's never had a significant win against the Steelers (this year not withstanding).

    He's wise beyond his years.
    I feel nothing.
And throwing his linemen under the bus.

The only silver lining I can see to losing to Peyton Manning is the ensuing circus of posts by BFT as his head explodes over and over and over :lolol:

I always knew "Peyton was very smart, very very smart" this man has an extraordinaire brain...i mean look at him. :smiley1:

Manning is well balanced on and off the field a good man! Although he's fair game Sunday will crush him.

All the Manning's are like that. Here's a pic from last year's family reunion.

Your talking about two different Peyton Mannings here, the young peyton brimming with confidence both mentally and physically, and the 40 year old one thats doubting his ability to make all the throws he used to make in his prime. He can still read defenses with the best of them, and thats where this game will hinge, can Butler fool him with different looks and schemes and stop the run to force PM into errant throws, if not our banged up offense will struggle to keep pace in this game, in the final analysis Pitt has to keep this game close or get a lead because they cant come back from a 14 or 20 point deficit in this game, they have to win the turnover battle, and be sharp on special teams to move on to the AFCC game.....

I've never had a problem with Manning. I think he's a stand up dude and a class act in the NFL. That said, as a QB I still believe he is a big game choker. He did it in college and he's done it several times in his NFL career.

Yeah. I still can't believe that a Senior led Manning team lost the Championship game to Nebraska...only to Win it all the following year with a worse talented team led by
" TEE MARTIN "....ouch!! Hey, maybe if Ben can't play this Sunday we can sign Tee for this one game, and have him on the sideline just to F with Mannings Head ( LOL )...but seriously, I can't believe as..well Dumb as Tee Martin looked for us in trying to run a offense, that now he is one of the better up and coming Coaches in Football. He is now the OC at USC. And have good creative mind as their assistant OC/WR coach for the previous 4 years. He very well might be a candidate for a NFL job in the next 2 to 3 years.

I read somewhere he has been taking puppies and transfusing their blood thereby killing them to extend his career. I'll see if i can find the link and post it tomorrow.

To be fair, all he said was that protection was an issue. I would bet every QB has said similar things at one time or another.

Manning seems like a good dude, but I still us to hit him early, often and hard! Make him hurt and make him worry about the next time he gets hit. Do that and we win
