Let the race to 20 school conference commence. B1G isn't done, and no way Washington and Oregon gets left behind.

Wtf? Can’t say I’m a fan of this. The Southeastern Conference is now the half of the continental United States and the rest are either big10 or nobody?

Agree. Over 100 years of tradition is being destroyed by a stroke of a pen. People in Arkansas or Missouri will watch Oregon vs Oregon State. Will they watch Oregon vs Illinois? Hard-core fans will watch no matter what; casual fans will stop watching.

This fleeing trend (including the portal) matches society anymore where tradition of any sort is a 4 letter word. What's in it for ME today!

T2 is going to resemble the CFB we've grown to love. P2 is going to be NFLlite. A banner is a banner; therefore, while T2 won't carry that prestige, it's still a national championship. Pitt traditionally been a coaching stepping stone and recruits 3* kids. I really don't see a major difference in potential teams Pitt will field. It'll obviously be better to be in the Big 10, even as a mid tier team; however, being a potential T2 powerhouse isn't the end of the world.

You can't believe anything till it happens, but yesterday morning on a sports talk show it was mentioned look for Clemson, Miami and FL State to join the SEC .

I can't see the big 10 only having 2 west schools. Depends on how far they want to take it, but Oregon, Washington possibly Stanfird and Cal making a West division, creating 3 or four divisions within a new national conference. Thus by rotating the schools would only have 2 or 3 east coast games to commute to. I doubt Colorado gets an invite but it would make sense in creating an east, central Midwest and western division.

Agreed..Likely 2 or 3 major conferences..with the remnants of the Pac 12, big 12 forming a less than. Expansion of the national title game, giving several bids to the big boys and possible bids to the lower level conferences.

Problem is there is only so many games you can play in a year. With a 13 game season, then conference championship..can you really expand to what amounts to a 20 game season? Oh they will in the billions are there..I justvtbink the quality will not be.
