Every where Jim Schwartz goes, his defenses bring the wood!

I know he hasn’t had success as a head coach, but it was the Lions. Who’s to say he wouldn’t succeed with the Steelers as a HC?

You pair him with a really good Offensive Coordinator we could have some success.

Does every Steeler coach need to hang on for 20 years?

Let’s be honest it was only really good for the first 10 years for Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin.

 

At this point I’m not sure 20 years is a concern to me

I don’t put many miles on but I’m pretty sure I bought my last set of new tires

Some days I question buying green bananas

 

Cowher’s next to last year was really good imho.

 

Cowher needed 14 yrs. to win a Super Bowl.

 

I probably wont make twenty more so I hope we turn it around faster and we get to see one more Lombardi. The mrs just diagnosed with Alzheimer's and she is 57 so unlikely she makes 20 more either. One stretch of dominance would be awesome. Greedy I know but cant help it.

 

This!!!! I think Flores is the best option with Marcus Freeman out of the running. But if the Steelers brass didnt value youth so much because they want to hang on to a coach forever....I would love to see Cignetti get the job. What hes done in two years at a basketball school like Indiana is unparalled in college football history and his team is filled with 3 star players. I mean, the dude just beat Alabama by 35 and Oregon by 34....teams filled with 4 and 5 star talent. Hes 64, so the Steelers would never consider it but I would love to see what he could do with world class athletes and not just 3 star players.
