Absolutely.... If he goes undrafted we should attempt to sign him.... Honestly, with the risk/reward factor, I'd draft him in the 7th if he was still there.

My point is the kit doesn't prove rape.... It proves intercourse, it's a piece of the puzzle, an important piece.

Slightly on but slightly off topic. I think one of the potential drawbacks of being famous or even pseudo-famous is you can't have any rough sex.

I'd also say that anyone dreaming that he goes "undrafted" needs to wake up. He might slip but he's not going to go undrafted unless the Cleveland PD is saying an arrest is imminent. The story I read said there were 3 witnesses that contradicted her claims.

Don't you find that is as serious or that the story had as much substance as the La'El Collins case?

I'm not convinced ad you are. I think there is a greater chance that he goes undrafted than not.

The basis for this is how the presumed #1 pick Tunsil dropped to #14 ( I think ) when his Twitter was hacked and a picture was posted of him in a gas mask.... Next Collins was to be questioned about a homocide where he was not a suspect and dropped completely out. Conley has been accused directly of the crime of rape.

He very well can drop completely out or maybe just a few rds..... We'll find out draft weekend.

Going undrafted at this point is probably what is best for Conley. I'm sure he still wants to get drafted in the first like he would have, but he can get a FA deal like La'el Collins if he ends up falling completely out of the draft and the charges are dropped/proven false

Yeah, well Collins was a murder of an ex girlfriend.... this was an accusation from a strange woman from Cleveland..... dude, have you ever been to Cleveland.... all chicks in Cleveland are certifiably cray cray. At the same time, I wouldn't draft him just because he was hanging out in Cleveland. Just sayin.

He will get drafted, her story sounds fishy.

I was reading an article on PFT that says there's an expectation around the league that he'll be drafted in the 3rd round because that's where the risk is worth the potential reward.

    3rd round?

    :hmm:

Interesting indeed. I understand some teams may have wrote him off completely at the moment but should he be BPA for us in round two if that is true, I would not mind it.

I wouldn't do it. This draft is very deep at our positions of need, and we can get a very good player at #62.

If he is innocent the Steelers could really use this CB. 3A.. instead of Kaaya.

This **** won't go away until false/nefarious rape accusations are actually punished. It's like a modern day version of the Salem Witch Trials

I believe that if he drops, the Steelers should jump on him. I don't believe this story at all. He is going to get cleared and he is one of the best DBs in this class.

Do we know how much this woman (if lying) has cost this young man?

For estimating purposes lets figure he would have been drafted by Philly

    at 14.

Based on last year, looks like he roughly lost 2 million dollars (14 vs 24) so alot but in certain terms not all that damaging.

It could have been alot worse.

Yep. He could have been like La'el Collins or be like Shawn Oakman right now.
