Dude coons, as we call them, are dang evil minions of Satan!!! I used to coon hunt a lot when I was a teenager and we could catch them and I had a huge cage I would keep them in until I wanted to try and train dogs with them. So I had this thing called a "roll cage" which you would put the coon in and wire it shut and its feet would come out of it so he could run from the dogs. The problem is when you are putting them in that thing you are in danger of getting bit. So I had this tobacco stick, or backer stick as we call them, with a cable on it that I would use to wrap around its neck to put it in the cage and my buddy had to hold it while I wired the cage shut. Well you have to hold them tight or they will lunge at you and it did that while I was wearing it and scared my buddy and he let it go and it grabbed my hand and tried like everything to bite it and I jerked back real quick and its claws tore a hunk off the end of my finger! I had to call the vet to make sure I didn't need a shot. They are evil dude! I could tell you another story of something me and one of my buddies done one time to some coons but some might find it too messed up. Let's just put it this way. Teenage boys are stupid and dangerous. LOL.

Actually they made a reality show about these guys that kill deer for city people because they've almost taken over. My dad lives in Norris which is basically in a state park and the deer will just walk in to your driveway and in to your yard and up your sidewalk and eat out of your flowerbed. They really don't fear people over there. They will total a car in about 2 seconds flat too man!

No but it involved bullets and the top of my head! I've got a REALLY goooood fireworks story though that involved me and some fireworks at a gas station though! The more I look at my teen years the more I'm amazed that I'm not dead. I never did drugs or alcohol but I loved mischief so much I couldn't stand it! LOL. Sometimes a little TOOOO much!

first of all i never said i could do a better job of coaching the steelers than tomlin.. dont think any of us (with the exception of TTF) could..its not what i have chosen to do for a living... . but he sure is not doing a good job... we have scored 0 points today thru 3 qtrs.. we have more injuries, fumbles and INTs than first downs.. but obviously you think the way the steelers are playing is acceptable.. if people accept this then thats what we get .. thats what we deserve.. question for you... did we unleash hell today ?

You certainly hit the nail on the head. It's too bad people can't learn to respect all animals and instead mistreat them for their own amusement.

Surgeon appt was today. Was told I didn't need surgery! 2-3 weeks of physical therapy and I get released to go back to work. I'm already into my 3rd week of being off work.

:amen: I'm a huge animal rights believer, unfortunately I have seen a lot of ugly things as I know people who are involved in animal rescue and have volunteered at shelters myself. It's a shame the suffering animals endure.

Sorry dude I just used to like to hunt. It was fun and still is but I just don't have time to do it. If you've never felt the rush of watching a dog and a coon fight you don't know what you're missing. It's legal to do it and it's needful because they are a nuisance to people's crops and also they carry rabies. You have to train dogs to be able to tree them and that's what I was doing it for and then I let it go. That's probably more than a zoo would do isn't it? Nothing personal. I was just saying that so you would know why I was doing it. I respect your opinion.

We are definately on the same side of the table on that one. I've rescued, found and saved many animals over the last 50 years, because I didn't start until I was 20. Like you, I volunteer at a couple of animal shelters on a regular basis. When you believe strongly in the rights of animals it gives you a good feeling to help the ones you can. The only downside is the more animals you try to save the more you realize how many animals need help and there is no way to get to even a small fraction of them. Just need to help the ones you can.

It's nice to have another member on the board that shares the same belief in the way to treat animals.

Didn't take it personal, I learned a long time ago that my opinion and feelings about animals are just that, my opinion and feelings. You are definately wrong about one thing, seeing two animals fight is one of the last things that would give me a rush. That is not my stlye. I would and have seperated two animals from fighting and paid the price in scars and blood loss. It's not a fun thing to do but it's what I would do rather than get a rush. Coons can be tough to seperate or stop from fighting. No need to continue the conversation on this subject, you won't change my opinion and I won't change yours. Let's just disagree on this subject and go back to talking football and the Steelers.

Has anyone ever seen Ike unleash HELL, he will get his chance to do that Monday night against the bengals star receiver AJ Green, I'm betting green will unleash hell on Ike, the Bears couldn't handle green, but now Ike is going to do it, I'll have to see it to believe it....

(9/8/13) Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green had little trouble torching the Bears, as he caught two touchdown passes in a 24-21 Week 1 loss Sunday. Green was the Bengals' top offensive weapon, as usual. He was targeted a team-high 13 times, and finished with nine receptions for 162 yards. He scored twice, once on a 2-yard pass from Andy Dalton, and then from 45 yards, both in the first half.
