DK Sports mentioned it about Porter.Team will be better after bye week. All these new faces are just taking time to gel.Wallace is awful. Just have to hope Pickett can get on track. I like Steelers +4 .

I was shocked last week in Houston when I checked the stats and saw that both Peterson and Walace played every defensive snap of the game. They looked tired out there, and everyone is pointing to the offense keeping the defense on the field to much, but how about letting JPJ replace them on 5 to 10 plays a game to give them some time to rest?

I don't see how a tired Peterson or Wallace is better than a fresh JPJ? Right now, the Steelers are not allowing JPJ to play anything but the 3rd CB on the field.

They've made no impact at all. In fact it's been a downgrade, which I didn't think was possible. And only marginal impact with their draft picks in the last 3 years. It's not looking good for us pretty much across the board

I think I'm most disappointed with Seumalo. Is the fact that Cole isn't that good affecting his play? I thought out of any unit on defense or offense, the O-line was going to show the greatest improvement. Hell, they were playing way better at the end of '22 than they have this season. Maybe they will improve as the season wears on. Certainly, can't get much worse.

Yeah, Seumalo has been disappionting. Cole was at least serviceable last year, but has fallen off the cliff this year. Nobody on the Oline has played well this year so far

Corners often don't love meeting RB's in the hole. That's nothing new. But JPJ was known as a sure tackler of WR's, at least in college. His big weakness is change of direction, which is going to result in him being a pretty crappy open field tackler, at least until he tightens that part of his game up.

The kid should play more than he has so far either way. The other options aren't exactly getting it done

This team is so conservative, it's sickening.

Anyone gonna give me a good reason why Jones and Porter shouldn't be starting from here on out?

I talked with an Eagles fan, and they were fine with him leaving, they had a guy waiting in the wings. Maybe Seumalo doesn’t have anything in the tank anymore. After a few plays I noticed him walking around…he trudged around slowly like an old man.

    I’d like to see:

    Porter as wide corner
Wallace/ Pat P as short corner
    King as slot

    from this point forward.

This will definitely be throwing the kid in the fire versus Cooper Kupp in two weeks, but he’s got to be better than trying to match up Wallace on Kupp. He will get beat some sure, but I’m betting he will win his share of snaps too.

AQL said it all. Let the kid cook.

I actually like how they are working JPJ in. Yes PP is dust, but I said that before when we signed Him. Lots of things We do on D He's not ready for yet. Let Him be worked in slowly. People....We didn't throw Troy P in automatically....they eased Him in. Let them work Him as they are. Last time We threw a CB to the wolves was A. Burns.....I think they learned their lesson.

He isn't aware of the S.T.D School of Music where the entire football squad is comprised of cornerbacks. Same for the basketball team.

I saw where PFF has JP Jr as the highest graded cornerback in the league for week 5 headed into Monday night with a 91.4 grade. Peterson is #87, Wallace #93 and Sullivan #94.

Why isn’t he starting? Also, how the hell is Sullivan playing snaps over King? Or over… anybody?

For that matter, if the Training Camp Battle between Dan Moore vs. Broderick Jones was razor thin, why not start Jones?!...

    ... Oh wait...

I believe King did play, and I believe He gave up a huge play in zone....like He never played before.

You are talking about the run by Justice Hill. Correct, Desmond King II didn't make the tackle. However, that assignment was blown by Cole Holcomb due to him over pursing on the play. Granted, King's poor angle on the play didn't help but Holcomb had Hill dead to rights.
