Some picks I liked. Others were Cleveland steamers. I will post what I think on Sunday or Monday.

Yinz need to cheer up. If the draft is half as bad as some are suggesting, then the Steelers will be picking in the top 10 in one or two seasons.

Gonna come down to coaching cause the player potential is there.

I'm excited for the new season for the sole reason that we have a new head coach whose background is in offense... plus a whole new staff.

We'll finish 7-10 and one-third of this message board will say it was a successful year because we didn't lose another blowout first round playoff game.

A lot of people here are already calling McCarthy a failure, the draft a failure, and coming up with reasons why whatever the team does this year, they better win at least a playoff game or the season is a failure and McCarthy sucks.

They literally just finished the draft. The head coach hasn't even met most of the draft picks. They haven't had a single practice or even a single snap with the personnel that will now be in camp. Nobody has seen the new offense or the new defense. We don't even know if Aaron Rodgers is coming back or not. Yet these determinations are being made by people here. It's beyond ridiculous.

Let the entire situation play out and wait to actually see the product on the field and all the players as they learn and adjust to the new coaches and schemes.

That's the only course of action that makes a lick of sense.

The NFL draft event itself was disappointing. Too many guest speakers, advertisements, charities, make-a-wish(es), waste of time events, and exactly one too many Seahawk fan recovering from brain cancer shouting into the microphone out of his mind. 90% of the draft event was a waste of my time. I won't be watching next year.

After having 12 picks … I thought they were going to have the ammo to do something really special, like moving up, or stash picks for next year.

Instead we got some guys with question marks.

It doesn’t feel great. However there is a chance they could pan out… so we just have to wait and see…

like if the OL picks work out our line is set for a long time.

These next 5 seasons are rebuilding seasons with MM heading up the project. If we miss on a pick this year, we'll get it right next year. Buck up buttercups, you guys asked for this rebuild.
