AB and Bell signed, still $24.5 mil under the cap. Not something a Steeler fan is used to hearing.

I guess tell Eric Berry we'll pay him that money to come for a year. LOL!

Sign Eric Berry, and we can cut Mike Mitchell, designate him post-June 1, and save $5 mil. It can be done.

I would cut Mitchell so fast for Eric Berry that his head would spin faster than Beetlejuice's. The best endorsement I know of for Eric Berry is a Chargers fan that I know said that he's overrated. Therefore he might actually be the greatest safety of all time. LOL!

That cap money is going to keep shrinking, we still have to sign AV, LJ, Harrison and possibly Timmons plus several other UFAs...........

I don't think Timmons will be back.

Reports are that Berry and the Chiefs are closing in on a deal to make him the highest paid Safety.

And Ingram has been franchised, for those of you looking to sign him away from San Diego. It would take 2 first rounders to get him. So he's untouchable too.

In 2015 they made justin houstin the highest paid linebacker in history at 101 million for 6 years, and the highest paid safety is cardinal tyrann mathieu at 62 mill for 5 years 40 mill guaranteed, so they will pay berry in the range of 70 mill to make him the highest paid and 2 players on defense will account for a 171 million in cap space, eventually they wont be able to pay any other starters on defense deserving of a big contract.......

More than likely with the development of both Chickillo and Hawkins.

Unfourtunate for Moats... but this is a business after all.

Harkens back to when I felt some type of way after Troy announced his retirement..... still have not fully recovered from it.

They just gave AB 68 million, and you want them to sign another WR in FA . I agree though about signing a corner.

The Chiefs are dumb, paying a safety 78 million that position isn't worth that kind of money.

Yeah. Last time I checked you need more than one WR. You want to trust Bryant? $10M talent, $.10 head. DHB and Coates are decent depth. Rogers is a slot guy. We aren't putting a rookie out there. Who's your other starting WR? if Jeffrey or another good vet would come here on a cheap deal looking to win, I'd sign them up.

Last year I might have agreed on this. But last year we started 3 rookies, 2 of which play more difficult positions than WR. About the only place we probably wouldn't start a rookie would be LT, and we won't be looking there.

We aren't taking a WR in the top three rounds.

Uhh, sure? I would much rather we draft heavy on D again and suspect that DB and LB will get priority.

Jeffrey isn't coming cheap FYI, he also was suspended last season for PEDs. No thanks, I will take my chances with Bryant, Coates, Ayers, Rogers, Green, and DHB.
