How people don’t support term limits is beyond me.

Political rant over.

 

It's crazy how divided the country is. I remember going to church in the late 70's and 80's... and nobody ever talked about politics, and they supported respected whoever was president whether it was Carter or Reagan. Nobody gloated when Reagan won in '80, remember it well.

Social Media and Partisan Politics have ruined society. I can understand Generation Z acting like a bunch of 6th Grade Carnival Barkers.... but grown-ass men and women of the Baby Boomer, GenX and Millenial generations acting that way is pathetic as hell. My Grandparents' generation (WWII) are rolling over in their graves.

 

Amen to this.

 

Tomorrow there are going to be millions of people running around with signs screaming about a king that we don’t even have. Which side has a cult? LOL.

 

People have been radicalized (remember that term from the early 2000’s?) by the algorithm/internet.

You have folks that couldn’t have explained “bicameral legislature” 5 years ago making political beliefs their entire personality. They literally have no other component of their identity.

Makes them incredibly easy to exploit. Quick work to split folks up into fundamentalist factions.

 

We do have a King. Article 1 is dead.... until next January.

 

Then Chuck Grassley can't serve in the Senate until he's 110 and after that, his head will be in a jar of blue liquid and Iowans will still vote for him.

 

Chuck Schumer wouldn’t be able to hold the country hostage, Nancy Pelosi wouldn’t be able to do insider trading while drunk on scotch, vodka, bourbon, gin or whatever else she pours down her throat and Mitch McConnell wouldn’t be able to fall down over and over and over again while trying to serve his 95th term in office.

 

But...but....but.... Mitch cheated and got you Gorsuch and ACB! You should be happy with Mitch!

 

Ironically, the only one making sense lately is John Fetterman. That’s got to make some deceased democrats spin in their graves.
