I've been watching the speculation for a few days now. It seemed almost like morbid wishful thinking by weather geeks just 2 days ago, but now even some skeptics are saying it's a high possibility.

Stay away! It's not even November yet! :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:

Go. Away. I am really not ready for a Nor'easter. Hopefully it veers right and stays away from the coast. :praying:

They're calling it Frankenstorm, and now saying it's an almost 90% certainty it will form. The only question now is where will it start? Delaware? Or further north? (go north. go north)

East/Central Pa? So you are going to be pretty close. I think we're pretty safe here in WPa except for some rains. My wife just left for Hershey 10 minutes ago for a conference. Shes there until Sunday, so she should be back home safely before it hits.

Batten down the hatches, it looks to be epic.

Man living here in East TN we never get cool storms like that! The biggest storm of my lifetime was the blizzard of 93. I was 11 years old and we were stuck for a whole week. I live way out in the country where there are lots of hills and curves and any time it comes even a little snow it shuts things down. I live up on a really high hill and don't have a truck so our driveway is a death trap when it's snowy. We don't get too much snow though but I wish we did because I love to look at it. But atleast maybe this storm will hit in time to slow down RG3 lol.

I'm going to breath a reluctant sigh of relief. It's looking more and more like it's going to be staying to the east.

I retract my sigh of relief. The weather map I looked at this morning was much different.

Where do you live Ray D? I grew up in Nazareth PA. Live in Rochester NY these days. I haven't looked, but we typically get the edge of whateve happens out towards NYC and my old stomping ground there in Eastern PA. I did hear we are headed for days of rain so it must be part of this.

Someone from work was looking at the weather service site and they had about 20 possible paths based on their models... 5 of the paths came right through my city. Wonderful.

We've already canceled some meetings that were scheduled for Monday since some of the participants would have to come up from VA and we are thinking about canceling some things scheduled for Tuesday as well.

Just occurred to me. I'm off Tues and Wed, AC3 comes out Monday night...

And I'll more than likely have 48-72 hours without power... :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:

Yeah I put the post up this morning right before I left and when I got to work some of the guys were talking about it and I told them I was just talking to my buddies on Steelers Fans and saying how we wouldn't get any of it and one of them pulled out his phone and showed Knoxville getting hit and I was like "YES! WE MIGHT GET SNOW!!! SWEET!" LOL. I also have this morbid fascination with extreme weather too. I love to watch those Tornado shows on tv and YOUTUBE. I think once before me and Ray talked about how we would like to see a tornado in person and some of the other posters thought we were insane. LOL. I still stand by my position though.

That's what a lot of northern people tell me. I just love to see it snow and where I live here in the mountains it's just beautiful to see it. Also I can't wait for my little boy to get to go out and play in it. And also I like to play in it too. LOL.
