In 2015 and 2016, Todd Haley and his arch enemy Ben were soooo in love with their offenses that they’d arrogantly go for 2 needlessly. They led the league in 2pt tries in ‘15 (8 for 11) and in ‘16 (3 for 9). But the fever broke vs Dallas in ‘16 went 0-4 and lost because they chased points that they didn’t need to chase. In 2017, the Steelers tried only 4 2pters, about middle of the league,

Today, John Harbaugh is infected. He might miss the playoffs because of it.

Wel since you neither understand statistics, football, or a winning attitude. In the long run points are good. In the long run, playing the odds works. If it isn’t working, fix the problem. Do not be afraid of the challenge.

Horse Manure. I understand all these things. If Tomlin did what Harbaugh did, this board would erupt with rage.
Long Run Points? When the Steelers were infected they were 11/20 over a 2 yr period In 2015-16. If they kicked AND hit every XP they’d have scored 20 pats. Their aggressive 2pt stance got them 22 pts. Netting 1pt/yr over those two yrs.

Besides, you’re wasting your beef with me. Tomlin was the guy who stopped going for 2. Tell him he doesn’t understand stats, winning, etc

Losing two games in one season, because you tried to win the game on a two point conversion, instead of playing in OT is flat dumb. Ravens fans have to be pissed right now. And that's a good thing!!

Maybe Harbaugh and Tomlin can have a "not living in my fears" competition. They can broadcast it live before the Super Bowl, because neither one of them will have a team playing that day.

Well, in the long run his aggressive decisions will supposedly pay off.

To be fair, Harbaugh has a secondary that has maybe one legit starter on it. Go to overtime against Ben when he ran roughshod over them the 4th quarter? Go overtime against Rogers? Or take a chance on an immedeate victory? I see his point. But I relish the failure.

His rationale after the Steelers game was that he ran out of CBs. What’s the rationale with this game?

Well they didn't grow more Cbs. Though I hate the 2 point conversions stuff really.

They have said that for years. In fact, to a lot of fans the grass is always greener when it comes to coaches and quarterbacks. What can you do? People are generally dumb.

I think he lost another CB, Young today.

Ravens had Packers on the ropes, Hairball messed up.

They are who we thought they were, and they let themselves off the hook.

Tomlin is also the guy who kept his starters in a lost cause game because he felt they needed the work. He then proceeded to try and work the clock with his time outs only to get to the 30 and let time expire in what can only be described as the most insane play series to end a game.

If you go back and listen to Pat Mcafee's podcast on Friday after the Chargers shot themselves in the foot with their own analytics he goes off on the topic even gets AL Micheals to chime in and I'm sure the Ravens second loss on a 2pt try to win the game.
