It is nice that we have the tie breaker over both the Broncos and Chargers.

The tiebreaker only matters if they're tied. SD likely getting to 11 wins, so unless the Steelers win next week, they're going to Baltimore for WC weekend. Anyone looking forward to that?

The 6th seed isn't any more favorable than the 7th.

@ Baltimore or @ Buffalo. Both likely will be double digit drubbings.

While probably correct, the Steelers could still go to Buffalo.

If the Bills lose their last 2 games (probably less than a 0.000000000000000001% chance that happens) and the Ravens won next week, Buffalo would drop to the 3 seed.

The Chargers aren't losing to the pathetic Raiders so that means if we beat the Bengals then we are off to Houston. Lose to Cincinnati and we limp into Baltimore on a 4 game losing streak.

That’s the best possible matchup for the Steelers is playing at Houston. Of course I would take still winning the division and playing the Chargers in the 3 vs 6 game if the Ravens somehow lose to the Browns and the Steelers beat the Bengals. But it’s very important to win that Bengals game just to get back on track and get some confidence back and to avoid going to Baltimore and playing Houston instead in a much more favorable matchup. Plus, Houston is usually the first game of Wildcard weekend it seems like when they host a game so it would probably be at 430 on Saturday Jan 11th.

Look at the irony - a big reason the Steelers are where they are is because the lose to the Browns (YES, the Ravens lost to them too, but the Browns at least then were trying - the Browns have been brutal the last month and a half except the Steelers game)

The Bengals beating the Steelers would send them to Baltimore instead of Houston

    and

The Ravens can end the Steelers season.

Plus the Bengals and Browns are going to pick ahead of the Steelers in the draft and likely get a more favorable schedule next year.

But at least the Steelers had another non losing season.

Not possible. Steelers own the tiebreaker over Denver. Steelers can no longer be a 7th seed. The one and only good thing to come out of a Denver loss. I was hoping for a tie bc then we’d of gotten the best of both worlds.

Hopefully Houston. Good QB but young and might have jitters with lots of pressure. Saying that lol we have looked very pedestrian the past 3/4 weeks. Which means that wouldn’t matter.

I know it's not possible now. It's not possible because Denver lost. The post that you're quoting was written before they lost

    Don’t beg for Houston.

He could throw multiple TDs and their Defense will fight.

One thing the Steelers have shown me is QB's that other good teams would have an easy day with tend to make us sweat balls.

Houston might be the only playoff team worse than us. That doesn’t mean an automatic win on the road, we stink.

Ravens are not losing to the Browns. So enough with the pipe dream of 3 seed.

I'm sure most fans gave up on getting the #3 seed after the 3 game losing streak.
