Funny you say that. After paying Comcast a big sum for years and having a gazillion channels (as my wife says) we realized we don't really watch most and are thinking of going back to the old days.

How the hell did you remember Edson??????? I liked his post. When a bit younger I loved when we went to Mexico for 3 Steeler games. (how I planned it) Watching it with the locals was a lot of fun. Their version of a sports bar is a tad different then ours but the hot young waitresses learned quickly what American men watching the NFL were like. They made a killing in tips.

Looks like it will be Bengals-Browns on CBS and Steelers-49ers on Fox in NY. I just checked the local channel guide and was able to set the DVR for the Steelers. I believe that means I see the first three games live, with Weeks 2 and 3 in prime time.
